We recently visited the Thai kitchen at the Bewick arms. The food was amazing! With lovely authentic flavours. The pub itself was cosy clean and a nice place to go for a relaxing evening dinner. The service was brilliant friendly staff and the food came out very quick.

Newly opened, and wanted to leave a reveiw to ensure people are aware that this lovely pub is now open for drinks. We'd not been in the pub previously but it looks to have been sympathetically renovated and it's beautiful building so I'm happy to see it back in use.

Under new management since Sept '18. First visit was excellent, great welcome & service, we chose from menu recommendations made by staff and were not disappointed, menu was seasonal. Will definitely return. Update: have returned and had a great evening again, wines are excellent.

Great place.. Very friendly staff and nice food in a beautiful setting. Good clean accommodation with little extras that make the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was superb at their on site cafe. Highly recommended.
My experience at Bewicke Arms was most enjoyable. I was attending a professional event, however I would highly recommend it as a venue for a gathering of any sort.
The pub itself, is a beautiful period building, with spectacular views, and is situated in a thoroughly picturesque village.
The food
Stayed here on a business trip to Leicester. Very nice room but I needed to leave before breakfast was served so can't comment on this. The dinner the night before was excellent. I would recommend
Went to see Tommy lloyed-jones playing the guitar. Very good! The food is decent from past experiences and the place is friendly and welcoming. Only reason for not five star is that the food was trying too hard to be a big restaurant and not a pub. But overall really decent!
Stayed here for two nights in May 18. Dinner on first night, bar snack second night. Excellent attentive service and faultless delicious food.
Great home made food in a warm cosy cafe. Great for after a walk or cycle ride. Outdoor seating with a great view across the countryside.
Lovely friendly pub. Great food. Had pork belly which was absolutely devine. Omar is the best! Highly recommend.
