Lovely hidden gem.
Amazing Oysters and wine on a sunny afternoon with incredible views out on the harbour.
The staff are very attentive and friendly.

I recently stayed with my family in a marine lodge in Mercury Yacht Harbour, so we had The Gaff Rigger as our local drinking and watering hole for a week. We thoroughly enjoyed our several trips there - variously for breakfast, lunch and dinner and sometimes just for a drink. Lovely, freshly cooked food, friendly service and a really pleasant atmosphere. Many thanks to Karen and the team.

Gaff Rigger experience was very nice. They have several nice seating options - outdoors, on the deck overlooking the marina, conservatory (play area for kids with Lego blocks), bar, outdoors and another restaurant enclosure - so lots of choice. And the food and drinks were nice, they have the usual pub fare, but always offer a couple of special menu items. Among nibbles, highly recommend tempura prawns with wasabi.
