First thing made was the ice cream then had to wait for the meal that laid on the side because the girl behind who supposed to be serving was more concerned about her phone and disrupting everyone from doing the job their employed to do. Manager launching the food along into the catch area burger looked a real mess
Jumped in for a McMuffin, first one I'd had in a while, and it was revolting to be honest. The muffin itself was very obviously stale, the egg had pieces of shell through it and the sausage was completely tasteless. Never again.

I didn't even try the McDonalds _ sorry, can't stand the stuff, though I know others who love it - but the Hamilton Service Area is a welcoming place to stop for a wee while when you're heading north on the M74. There's quite a complex series of motorway manoeuvres ahead, so a good place to stop and check your maps/GPS beforehand.
