We went to late dinner last night. There was only 1 server and 1 cook. The server I think his name was Steve did such an amazing job even with being under staffed last night. Steve was super nice, he worked so hard last night being the only server. The food was amazing and our portions were huge. I was very impressed. Of course we left Steve a huge tip cause he deserved it big time. We will b goin back to this Denny's in the future.

If you like cold food, dirty restrooms, nasty attitudes, then this place is for you. Absolutely trash, so many better options in this area. Do not waste your time or money. Staff is lazy, sitting around while 15 people waiting for a seat. This is the worst rating I ever gave a restaurant!!!!

I have been in person to this restaurant and have ordered to go from Uber Eats. When I was in person with my whole family, it took a very long time for our order to get taken/received and my mother’s meal was never put in the order at all, in result our waitress was sent home but nothing else, and my mother, after an hour, decided not to eat. My first Uber Eats order was delivered over an hour past the due time, due to the restaurant being behind on orders. The second time I ordered, I accidentally clicked the wrong thing (I know is my fault) but I called before the food was made, and was put on hold to “ fix my order “ long past due my order was picked up by the driver. Also adding, they did not even include the salsa I was supposed to receive and they only gave me 3 very baby chicken tenders.

Food is consistently good, but service could be better....I am a coffee drinker and was having brunch with my 81 year old Aunt, after taking her to. Dr. Appointment. I finished before my Aunt. While she was eating, I was drinking coffee and we were just visiting. There was only 2 other tables there.....We felt rushed when our check was brought to us while my aunt was still eating....my coffee refills stopped, I only got 1 refill and 1 warm up....I went and paid the bill and sat back with my Aunt as she continued to eat.... She's 81, she's not speedy Gonzales anymore!! I probably sat their 30-45 minutes with an empty coffee cup sitting on the edge of the table to give the server a sign it was empty....but since we had paid, she never came back to our table again, at all....we were avoided!! I am a very good tipper. I always take in consideration how long we've taken up a table as well as a minimum of 20% and extra for great service. I used to be a server, so I do have expectations...I feel I had a lot of control in determining how much I made....People tend to pay for performance, and I loved it!! I liked making a lot of money and being in control, by providing excellent service! That is something that is truly lacking in a lot of places recently. I kind of think it should be common sense, but maybe these employee's have never served before and didn't receive adequate training? I don't know, but that was our experience....I still tipped her well, but she could have earned a lot more from me, had she truly given good service, and acted like she cared-even just a little bit!

My Birthday was 6/15, I went to have my Birthday breakfast with my son. This was my 1st time going out to eat sense the Pandemic. It wasn't crowded, so I felt safe. I was told that there was only 1 waitress, so I was patient. After about 15-20 minutes she came to our table I told her what my son wanted & said I wanted the Birthday slam. She instructed me that I need a reward code. I didn't know that because throughout the years I never needed one. I preceded to look in my rewards and clicked on the Birthday reward & opened up the code. The code left . couldn't be pulled back up..We never got food..Over an hour later ..my son order never came out..as I walked out the waitress told me I have 30 days to use reward. Never an apology my son was sad i was disappointed. I told her that she never took my order, I had money and came to eat. The reward code is used at checkout ..

Food was excellent but the restaurant is extremely understaffed. However, they are aware and honest about the issue upon arrival. There was a large wait but the kindness of the staff makes up for it. The food was amazing, made with love and quickly! As long as you can be patient for the wait you will not be disappointed.

I was served promptly for the rate of business this restaurant was doing for it's limited staff! My food was good. The waitress was cooking by the time I left, and the shortage of help was painful. Still, I've never seen a harder working group of employees at a Denny's, EVER! Be patient and you'll have good food and a better than average experience!

Visited the location in Hampton, VA. The store was crowded, and service was slow. We persevered and got seated . We were finally served by a delightful server named Alexis. She was calm and friendly and brought our food in a timely manner. I was impressed by how professional the staff remained during a hectic time; unflappably! Kudos to the team!
