This is my new favourite fish and chip shop and so close to home. The fish is so fresh and much thicker and bigger than anywhere else making g it excellent value. Crispy batter and extra crunchy potato cakes Stop reading and get down there it's amazing!

Finally we have found the best old-school fish and chips in all of Melbourne. This is a take-away shop like we used to all enjoy back in the day- Good quality, fresh fish that is either fried (in the crispiest batter) or grilled. But the stand-out is definitely the home-made potato cakes and the pineapple fritters... wow, you have to try this! The owners are so hard working and just lovely- lets support small businesses like this! Ps, the hamburgers are just delicious (like you used to get!)

Stumbled randomly across this fish and chippery, and what a little gem! The potato cakes are the best I’ve ever had - crispy, airy yet fluffy. Even I can’t believe how impressed I am with them. Chips were golden crispy and my fish was fresh and beautifully grilled . Calamari rings - also the real deal. Having been disappointed many a times with many fish and chips experiences, this place definitely delivers ! Looking forward to my next feed at the Hampton swordfish and chippery!

The best fish and chips in Melbourne I have ever tasted. The fish is so crispy and the chips are very. Whenever I go to Hampton this shop is a must go. In fact I sometimes go to Hampton beach just because I miss the fish and chips there.

Bad night at the shop tonight? New management? Ordered three grilled flake... got none. Ordered potato cakes and chips. Inedible. Dark. Dry. Overcooked. Threw the lot out and had to cook dinner myself. That sucks. Thanks... for worse than nothing :( i won't be back...

This is a really fantastic fish and chips takeaway shop the fish are well cooked to perfection and the oil is fresh. The chips are fried to perfection. Overall all great place to eat with your friends, family or yourself.

Where to even start, amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly.
The chips, potato cakes, dim sims & fish were all crunchy, yet airy and not oily, absolutely perfect. And don't even get me started on the burgers!
Stumbled across this place as my regular was closed, and it's safe to say we have found a new one!
