Love this place for some quirky and unique presents especially the Phil Balwin Pens and wooden jigsaw trees.
If you are looking for some beautiful wood turned pens for yourself or for a gift for someone, then this is definitely the place to get them.
Each pen,whether it's a ball point, fine point, or fountain pen, is unique in style according to the wood used.
We bought 3 pens as gifts!
They also create gorgeous wooden tree jigsaws,family tree jigsaws alongside other wooden items.

Beautiful place to sit overlooking the countryside with gardens and ponds; very tranquil. Lovely craft shops with craftsmen working inside. Enjoyed looking at pottery and glass. There's a posh chocolate shop, a bakery, an arts and gift shop, a garden shop and others. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere but is cramped for room if hosting a function. ( Wedding party catered for). Ring before you go maybe. Would like to see more savoury pastries for vegetarians/ vegans on the menu for lunches & a Mediterranean/ Greek option or two. I suggest roast Mediterranean veg on jacket potatoes as the only option is cheese. Not really for children but wonderful for meeting with friends, going as a couple or for present shopping e.g. Christmas!
Small but there are a few quality outlets of interest. There are very pleasant gardens where you can take in the view, go for a country walk or feed the ducks if so inclined.
The café was a bit of a disappointment, much of the menu was unavailable, one of the servers was quite abrupt, the lamb shepherd's pie had bone and gristle in it, the Victoria sponge was dry. Not good enough considering the prices.
Some 10 months later we returned and had a Sunday lunch which wasn't planned.
I be honest and was slightly nervous how good it would be given our previous experience however it was excellent, indeed I have to add that the beef was the best I have possibly ever had.
And there was nothing wrong with the rest of the meal either.
There's a full bar too that doesn't appear to get a mention.

An absolutely wonderful little place to visit.
It consists of various small units, rented by artisans who make their own products and sell them there. Some actually make on site. It's a fascinating place to visit, and lovely to see so much support for local creatives by the ethos of this site.
Favourites of ours are Knightgrove Meats - a very jolly local farmwife who runs her own little shop selling delicious meats, eggs, dairy, and other grocery items; Top Glass - a glass blowers' workshop who make and sell all sorts of amazing beautiful items; The Plant Girl - selling a variety of indoor and outdoor plants, ornaments, and delightful fairy and dragon type items; and The Chocolate Deli, where delicious chocolates are hand made on site. Lush!
You can also find a craft brewery, jewellery, cake makers, wooden gifts, and a large shop selling all sorts of gifts and clothing. Great place to go if you're looking for a hat!
There is a cafe on site, which is usually busy when we visit. It's the arrangement where you take a tray and join a queue. The food is absolutely delicious, but at times other customers being rude, grumpy and barging about can bring the mood of the place down. Every time that I have been, there has been grumbling about having to take their turn in a queue, physically barging into people, or being rude and snotty to the serving staff. I would have expected better behaviour from the older generation! Medals all round to the team who deal with everyone with patience and professionalism. The restaurant sells items such as afternoon tea, salads, hot meals, and ice creams, and oh my goodness, their puddings... to die for! I would recommend visiting when not busy though if you are going for a meal as it is far more relaxed and pleasant.
At the back of the restaurant there are several duck ponds and a garden which is very pleasant to sit and enjoy your meal in the summer. Sadly, Avian Flu means that you are unable to feed the ducks at present, but when there is no disease about, bags of feed can be purchased and the fowl always enjoy coming up and having a munch.
Overall it is a lovely place to visit, plenty to see, and a great place to spend your money if you want to support local artisans and farmers.
What a cute little place. They have a tea room cafe but we didn't go in. There are various shops with one being a glass blowing. But the surroundings is what really makes it with a small lake pond and picnic tables (although you aren't allowed to take your own food).
Nice selection of little fun shops and a cafe. Had late afternoon tea with family while on holiday. Quite fun to walk around. We had fun watching the glass blowers in action. Too bad it was a blistering hot day and we couldn’t stay inside to watch for too long!
Good parking on site. Cafe, toilets and a nice pond area at the rear. Numerous craft workshops including glass blowing, cake making, photography, jewellery, antiques and gifts plus more. Also community function room space for hire. Worth a visit.

We arrived just as the restaurant was closing. So, we browsed the shops and followed our noses to find freshly baked cakes,absolutely delicious.
Will be visiting again when in the area, hopefully earlier so we can try the restaurant.
Visited here today with my two youngest children. The grounds are lovely! We went to feed the ducks. The only issue was the price of the ice creams. £10 for 3 scoops of ice cream!
