Didn't eat here, just had drinks.
Staff polite and friendly.

Great Village Pub with Welcoming Staff Good Selection of Beers plus a Good Kitchen
I haven't visited, but phoned in advance to check on food service. Response was "I’m sorry, but we don’t serve meals. We just do bar snacks and homemade Cobs".
I was obliged to give a meaningless star rating in order to post this.
Great canal side pub, we only had drinks in the middle of winter. Our nervous dog (doesn't like other dogs) was accommodated by us using the back room which was empty. They have two other front rooms as well as an outside space which is too cold at the beginning of January so we were happy to be able to get inside with the nervous dog.
Traditional village pub,large selection of drinks
Friendly place with talkative locals, lovely landlord and excellent beer at great prices. Pedigree and Tribute yesterday. Good choice of bar snacks and if you’re hungry there’s a nice chip shop next door.
