The Hill House Inn - Happisburgh - Photo album

We stayed in Happisburgh for a short break and the pub was a short walk away. We stopped off for a drink whilst out walking and then decided to book a table for an evening meal later on. This is a lovely traditional dog friendly pub with bar and restaurant area and a pool table to keep the kids bus
Stopped here for an early lunch with husband. Excellent service from friendly staff, especially the young guy behind the bar (sorry, didn't get his name). Good selection of drinks plus decent food, would definitely recommend đź‘Ť
Great to go back to a beloved venue after many years, and find it's still đź‘Ś and very special and actually even better than remembered. Wonderful staff, great atmosphere and delicious food, not forgetting the iconic location of Happisburg. The photo is of the locally caught delicious Crab, with a ra
Fabulous rustic old pub, every time we visit the area we cycle to the hill house inn and often have lunch. I messaged via facebook to book a table and following my message they even put chicken pie on the specials menu for me! Lovely food and friendly atmosphere. Crab chowder was delicious too. Very
Been staying at the campsite nearby, went to the pub for a birthday meal and the staff and owners made us feel really welcome especially the dog. They had even put up a birthday banner. I highly recommend this pub to anyone great food and a good atmosphere will definitely be back.
Great service from friendly staff. Nice food plus a good selection of beers and drinks, what's not to like! Dog friendly. Well worth a visit.
A very authentic experience; we had a warm welcome from the landlord and enjoyed their home-made tomato soup. Don't be put off by the decor, the beer is well kept and the food home-made. Whilst we ate, the locals dropped in and out for a chat, the main topic of conversation being the coastal erosion
Visited Happisburgh and stayed just around the corner from The Hill House Inn for Christmas and had a great time eating and drinking in this pub. Food was really nice and well priced. Staff were very helpful and welcoming especially Tom behind the bar and the owner Clive was friendly. Also we had tw
A lovely traditional country pub with a roaring open fire. The owner and staff were delightful, service was excellent. We had the Sunday roast option, one lamb, one Turkey, both delicious with decent servings of meat. Drinks were good, they have a range of cellar ciders and I enjoyed the port win
The pub has very nice food with lots of choice. We stayed in Happisburgh for Christmas and had our food in the pub every day. Outstanding Christmas meal. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. Dog friendly. Really enjoyed every visit
A lovely olde worlde pub great service and great food. The location is not great for people with walking difficulties or breathing issues as it is up an incline, I have both issues but took my time and managed to get there.Better if you have transport.
Nice pub reasonably close to Happisburgh lighthouse. Service was very good and the owner was very chatty. Only stopped for a drink so can't comment on food.
Went for lunch. Limited parking. Decor is a little bit tired but cosy and clean. Not sure what to expect but the fact that the car park was full lets you know We had an absolutely fantastic lunch. Smoked, thickly sliced ham, 2 eggs and lovely chips. My partner had chicken and leek pie..superb pastry
Stopped off for lunch on a coastal walk. Great beer, good lunch. Staff very friendly. Definitely go back.
Went for lunch, really nice food at a reasonable price. Service was very attentive and friendly, would really recommend.
Lovely little find whilst we were on holiday. After a chilly walk on happisburgh Beach with the dogs it was the perfect place to stop for a bite to eat. This place allows dogs inside and out, the staff welcomed them and provided them with treats and water. The dogs were very relaxed and cozy as it
We have been coming to the Hill House for many years and it was really great to see the garden looking lovely this year. The viewing platform is a great addition! The staff were accommodating for three young toddlers with high chairs. We were a bit disappointed they couldn’t rustle up three portions
