Heard and read on FB a lot about Mayfield farm so headed out there today, well...to say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement, loved the fresh produce in the greengrocers, plenty of variety and mouthwatering..the bakery is to die for and went a bit mad in there and spent a fortune...the six seed bread is to die for, and finally the tearoom, lunch consisted of Welsh rarebit, with fresh salad with a dressing, homemade potatoes salad and coleslaw..my tummy was very happy �� highly recommended, very eco friendly as only paper bags and takeaway coffee cups, staff were friendly, polite and happy to chat about the different breads available.. definitely 5+++ stars!
Mayfield Farm Bakery hosted my baby shower and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment I contacted Jane I received a really kind and attentive service. The staff at the bakery decorated the tea room for us so beautifully and the food was just simply delicious and so plentiful we couldn’t eat it all. Thank you so much for a wonderful baby shower, my guests and I had the most lovely afternoon. All of my friends commented how perfect and lovely the bakery is, many local friends will be going back, as will I!

Been keen to go here for ages. Wasn’t blown away by my visit but the sunshine made it up for. Lots of wasps around as outdoor tables only got cleared once in the couple hours I was there. The cake was nice and the coffee was decent enough.
Great bakery course, Giovanni was a fantastic teacher and taught us lots about the baking process and good tips for beginners. Delicious food. Can thoroughly recommend.
Thank you for the delicious lemon cake you prepared for our parents Diamond Wedding anniversary. It looked beautiful with the white roses for decoration and it was so light and tasted amazing!

Myself and my friend had a lovely afternoon tea today. We were made very welcome and well looked after. Sandwiches, cakes and scones were delicious. Would definitely recommend
We used to eat here for lunch or tea and cake quite often when we lived nearby and always pop in whenever we travel back to Essex.
The staff are very friendly, all food is freshly made to order and delicious too.
A seriously impressive selection of cakes to go with my coffee during my cycling stop off. Although there were no bike racks, there was plenty of space.

VEGAN VEGAN VEGAN, what a fantastic surprise i got today at Mayfair bakery. on site freshly made dairy free pizza, made by a very polite Italian fella who was just the best chief i had come across, he hand prepared the dough, sauces & topping 5am this morning i think that's dedication at its finest. Thank you guys
First time here with friends sat in the coffee shop had a lovely toasted cheese and ham sandwich and a latte would recommend
