Ordered from here for the first time tonight, Wow!! Proper chips and chicken cooked to perfection! So glad we found this place and gave it a chance. Will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. We'll done ✔️

I never usually write a review. But felt I needed too. I ordered from here a few weeks ago and I was NOT disappointed. I ordered cheesy chips...proper chip shop chips with plenty of cheese and they always arrive piping hot and on time. The sausage in batter was delicious too...I'll always order my cheesy chips from here from now on.

Just popped by Fancy Fry for a spot of lunch. There were 4 of us, so we were able to sit in and eat. (They only have 2 small tables, as really it is a takeaway) The food was all cooked fresh to order. The coated chicken was delicious, as were the chips, crispy edges, with soft centres. The guys in there were super friendly too.

I only had a piece of cod it wasn’t very big but it had a nice crispy batter and the fish tasted fresh I actually enjoyed it as for the other stuff they do I can’t comment but fish wise I’m pleasantly surprised but it seems this place like many are not consistent

It's not the most appealing looking chip shop, quite dated, but the chips were cooked while I waited, the chicken looked tasty & I'll be trying the potatoes next time as they looked yum.

Just fancied fishcake, chips & beans, haven’t had it for years, and sick of eating salad from the supermarket as I’m stopping in a nearby hotel.
Fast service, food was still hot when I got back 10 - 15 mins later.
Professional service, & Really enjoyed the food, would use ‘Fancy Fry’ again.
Good tasty fishcake but had better, hence 4 & not 5 stars.
