Delicious Thai food, bursting with authentic ingredients and flavours. Great selection of starters to start of the meal, king prawns were huge! Mains were equally delicious and good size portions. Restaurant atmosphere was a warm and friendly place to dine in. Will be coming back again!

I cannot believe we had not been to this restaurant despite being in Harpenden for over a year. This is by far the best Thai restaurant in Hertfordshire. The food was delicious and the flavours were exquisite. More so the owners are such lovely down to earth people. So welcoming and friendly, just like family. Thank you Motin and Shah for your hospitality. You were so thoughtful and caring towards our three children and this is so rare to see. As my son says this is now his no.1 most favourite restaurant :-)

So I had never been to Harpenden & decided to head here for a dinner (not by myself). From the moment I walked in, the staff were attentive, service was brilliant & the food was delicious. We were lucky enough to meet the owner who was extremely friendly & gave us excellent insights into the menu. Great food, great people, great vibe. We will be back.

Lovely meal at the Bangkok Lounge. Very friendly staff and the food was amazing. Highly recommend the Weeping Tiger beef and the Panang Chicken Curry.

We found this place on Google as we were near to Harpenden and fancied Thai food (this was our very first visit). We went based on other google reviews and the reviews were great. I agree with the others, this place is really nice! The food and ambience was good but above all, the service was just amazing, it was just on point. The starters were super tasty however I did find my Thai green curry a bit too sweet even though I asked for it to be spicy so I let the owner know when he asked how the food was at the end. He immediately said that he could make the food how we wanted next time which I thought was super accommodating. Although we are a little far from Harpenden, I’ll certainly be visiting here again. If you’re in the area and you fancy Thai food, you won’t be disappointed.

Bangkok Lounge is an authentic Thai Restaurant and Takeaway in High Street, Harpenden. We were guests of my daughter and new son in law who had just come back from their honeymoon in Thailand and wanted us to experience a genuine Thai meal. The food was delicious, the staff are professional and friendly and I would definitely recommend the Bangkok Lounge following our visit.

Cozy Atmosphere, bit vintage but it’s ok.
Staff is super friendly, polite and helpful.
They give prawns crackers as welcome, get your coats if necessary.
Had starter, main and dessert.

Went first time with my boyfriend for a dinner.
The food especially both soups and mango sticky rice where great. The mains we had was jungle curry and sweet and sour chicken and these could improve a little in terms of a taste. The chicken was a bit to sour for my taste but plus for a fresh pineapple not from a can. In terms of price it was OK but as a lover of Thai food I know you can eat similar dishes with better or similar flavours for cheaper in other places but I assume the price could be due to location. The service was amazing, all the staff very friendly and try to find a time for a quick chat even in the busyes times.

A very authentic Thai food! I went to celebrate my husband’s birthday and we had a great time there. Best green curry I had in England made from scratch! Plus service was spot on. Highly recommend it and would definitely come back!

When it comes to service, the team here are up there with the best. They're warm, welcoming and have such an upbeat attitude. I thoroughly enjoy the food here too- ive eaten in and had takeaways, doesn't disappoint! Generous portion sizes and fairly priced. If you live local id be suprised if you haven't given this place a try!
