Set in the old Post Office building, it has been beautifully decorated and seating for around 100. The food is probably the best in the area at a very reasonable price. Staff very friendly too. A favourite eatery of mine.

Great atmosphere and food. Unfortunately found a small caterpillar in the beams but management were fantastic and dealt with the situation discreetly and professionally. Have not been put off with the experience!

Nice convenient location, and the interior is decorated very nicely - first time visiting since it opened. Visited on a Saturday night about 6.30, not too busy and the service was quick, the staff seemed a little unpolished (two drinks were dropped on their way to their tables at the other end of the restaurant) but very attentive so I can’t fault them for that. Had the steak frites with garlic butter which was both delicious and at a very affordable price. And the sharing charcuterie board to start had a nice variety, would recommend! Definitely going back soon.

Very nice place. Had a meeting with a business partner a d felt very comfortable discussing business there. Staff were helpful and ready to take the order without being intrusive. I highly recommend this place.

Ate breakfast here. Was quiet on a weekend morning. Food was nice and good value. Staff were friendly and mostly attentive until we had finished and then we had to track down someone to pay the bill.

Actually the visit (this time)was to the St Albans Cote Bistro. Always take my daughter and family to either Bistro when we visit. Both family friendly venues (especially now I have beautiful granddaughter! ). Never yet had a bad experience.

Excellent French restaurant with pleasant surroundings, a good menu, a good wine list (from what I know) and attentive staff. Pricing is what you would expect for a quality meal. Centre of town so parking can be tricky.

The food is excellent and the staff are very attentive. Our only criticism is the noise level. Because there are no soft furnishings on the walls, we were practicality shouting acres the table to be heard. When paying these menu prices I would hope management would address this issue.

1st time visit to this particular Cote and it never disappointed. Was celebrating our wedding anniversary and rang ahead to surprise her with a bottle of fizz on arrival which was done. The friendly staff then surprised us with a special desert and drinks at the end of the meal. This venue has a nice atmosphere and would definitely return.
