Amazing Thai food. I had the vegetable spring rolls, vegetable chilli and basil gra pao, and egg fried rice. The spring rolls are crispy and delicately flavoured, absolutely delicious! The gra pao had a subtle hint of basil and chilli with every mouthful, the vegetables cooked to perfection. It's not too spicy if you don't like heat. I tried the Lychee Angel, a Virgin Cocktail beautifully pink with a sweet lychee flavour. Great atmosphere, great food, and great service every time. Definitely recommend.

Really great food! It was our first time here and we'll definitely be visiting Giggling Squid again. We had the Butterfly King Prawn Pad Thai, the Salt & Pepper Squid, the Papaya Salad (spicy) and the Morning Glory. Our server Sahar was also amazing!

Food is very tasty with plenty of choice for lunch. Service was great. It was quiet so little atmosphere per sé but don't let that put you off for lunch. Had a laugh to myself regarding the T towel laundry upstairs! 🤣
Will go back, only 4 stars because 5 is near impossible, but nothing was wrong today.

Came here for a company dinner, had the shared starters which were great! Had a taste of everything squid was great, and couldn’t stop eating the spring rolls. My main was great, had the duck which was really tasty, the meat fell off the bone really nicely. Also tried a bit of the Pad Thai which was really delicious. Recommend for a cozy little dinner. Staff was really friendly, there’s a car park near by but it was paid parking, it was really hard to find parking on the streets.

Solid all round at Giggling Squid Harpenden.
Some of the specialty drinks and cocktails are particularly good. Food arrived quickly given our party size, and everything tasted great, ingredients seemed fresh.
Wouldn’t personally recommend the sesame ice cream but at least they tried something different.
Service was excellent too. Atmosphere was decent and the place is nicely designed.
Definitely a recommend from me, especially if you like Thai.

Interesting and extensive menu, hard to choose what to have as everything sounds so nice. Extensive drinks menus also. Great lunch selection with tapas options.
Had a really tasty meal, enjoyed everything, good value for money, good portion sizes and great quality. The restaurant itself is lovely, great interior design.
The service was brilliant, our waitress was really friendly and welcoming.
Overall had a lovely Mother’s Day lunch, my mum really enjoyed herself. Would recommend!

Valentine's Day, and what better way to spend the evening than with my boo.
All we needed was a beautiful venue, so we decided to try out Giggly Squid.
We were not at all disappointed. The staff were pleasant, food delicious and atmosphere, just beautiful.

Probably my favourite restaurant in Harpenden to eat in at or to get a takeout from! It's quite in demand though so I recommend you book ahead for a table. The staff here are friendly and welcoming. Good atmosphere in the restaurant which is over 2 floors, nicely decorated too. Food presentation even for a takeout is nicely done! The flavours are always beautiful with the dishes. Can't fault this place. Recommend!
