I haven't yet tried the food, though having reviewed the menu, it has some tempting vegetarian options.
However, I was impressed by the cocktails, especially the Cosmopolitan and Mojito. My favourite drinks taste different everywhere I go, but I think The George of Harpenden has perfected these cocktails. Great atmosphere, great service, and contemporary decor make this more than just your ordinary pub. The location is perfect, walking distance to the train station. Next, visit food and drinks.

Booking of 10+ for dinner on Saturday night. Food was good, table was excellent and the service was outstanding. Conor was not phased at all by our large, slightly disorganised booking. His service was efficient and professional. His manner was capable and friendly. Top lad

Annie was an amazing server and made our family lunch throughly enjoyable! She bought my children colouring and ensured the kids food came out quick. Great food and a great time, will definitely come again!

Really pleased with our lunch today for my granddaughter's birthday in smart and contemporary surroundings. Five of us for lunch, just the two starters, the Calamari was delicious.
We all had different mains and they arrived very well cooked and presented, and they kindly
served the chocolate cake that we bought with us.

Ate at The George on Friday night. Have been in for drinks before but never for dinner. Both mine and my partners meals were very tasty. We were waited on very attentively by who we believe was the manageress. She was extremely busy however her service was professional and hospitable. Thank you for a good evening and we’ll be back in the future.

Fathers deal meal was superb, Free pint for the fathers, was very enjoyed and a great idea. All staff were so friendly, especially Connie our waitress who was just brilliant. The food was great but the dessert were even better, recommended the brownie and Eton mess!! Can’t wait to return
