What an incredible little gem of a restaurant!
The atmosphere is absolutely lovely with warm lighting, a soft mood, light music and such an air of authentic charm as you look around at all of the things on the walls and shelves.
The food was 10/10! Every dish was outstanding, a perfect temperature, flavourful and delicious. The portion size was great too, whether you chose a few plates from the Meze tapas or main dishes (we had a bit of both), and left feeling very full!
Service was impreccable, with extremely friendly staff who would smile, have a joke and a laugh with you, and welcomingly recomme dishes when asked.
The price was also very reasonable considering the amount of food and the amazing quality.
We (2 people) had 2 alcoholic beverages, a mix (bread, dips and olives) platter, a spanokopita tapas, a patatas tapas, a main lamb stifado dish and a main sea bass with potatoes... And the bill was only around £65 including service.
Overall a fantastic greek food experience, would highly recommend and definitely revisit!.

We visited quite early in the evening, so the restaurant was fairly quiet. We received friendly service and didn't wait too long for the food to arrive.
The menu provided a good variety of options, including vegetarian and some vegan dishes. We opted for the vegetarian platter.
The food tasted fresh and packed with flavour, with a good portion size. The only slight detracting point was that we didn't get much bread. However, we also didn't ask for more.
Overall, an enjoyable experience.
Amazing food, great staff and lots of vegan options! So far the best Greek food I've had in the UK.
Wonderful family run Mediterranean tapas restaurant in central Harrogate.
We arrived with no reservation on a fairly busy summer Sunday evening. We got a warm welcome, a nice table and excellent friendly service. We had a delicious meal with a decent bottle of wine, all for a fair price.
Do yourself a favour and support this family business. We will be back next time we’re in town.
I rarely write reviews... but this place was amazing and deserves a special mention.
A really warm and intimate setting. We were welcomed warmly on arrival, everything was clean, nice relaxing background music playing. A local, owner-run place - and you can tell. So much more personal than a chain.
The menu is essentially tapas type food - order lots of small dishes. But we opted for the Chef's Special mixed platter (too hard to make a decision with so good dishes to choose from otherwise!) and boy were we not disappointed. First dish arrived in under five minutes and they just kept coming. Fantastic value vs ordering them all separately. We were stuffed.
But we couldn't pass up a look at dessert. After a quick break we shared a Galaktoboureko which was outstanding.
Our first time in Harrogate, but WHEN we come back we will definitely make Papa's out first stop 👍
Lovely food, lots of vegetarian, gluten free and all tasty and delicious. With some great Greek wines, too. All at a very reasonable price. Definitely worth seeking out
Some of the best Greek food I’ve tasted, a genuinely authentic restaurant run by Greeks who know how to cook and friendly staff who enjoy working in the restaurant. I was blown away by the Baklava for dessert especially. (PS I don’t usually post reviews but I just had to)
First review in 2018: Excellent authentic Greek food in a lovely restaurant. We went on one of the first days they had decided to open at lunchtime so it was quiet but I bet before long it will be very popular as I believe it is in the evening. Friendly staff with a reasonably priced menu.
Edit in November 2019: We returned one year after our first visit but this time in the evening. The restaurant now serves amazing tapas. Our party of 4 enjoyed 16 marvellous dishes that combined well to make a very satisfying meal. Great atmosphere. Unfortunately we live 50 miles away but will return.
Enjoyed a really lovely meal here, delicious food all obviously home made with friendly service too. Will definitely return.
