Tah Chang

Possibly one of my most exciting meals in Harrogate! We walked in after not being able to find space in other places and were seated straight away. Food was absolutely beautiful and there was so much flavour in each dish. Favourite dish was the pork ribs which I would recommend trying! Will be thinking about this food for a long time.

We decided to eat here, on our visit in Harrogate, and boy oh boy, we weren't disappointed! It was some of the best, if not the best, Thai food I've had. It maybe a little bit pricier, but well worth it (in my opinion). The staff were polite, friendly and jad time to chat and impart their knowledge of the dishes on offer. Highly recommended. Thanks Tah Chang, we'll definitely be back again.

Best Thai food I've ever eaten in the UK. Randomly found Tah Chang on Google when finding somewhere to eat, I called to book and an hour later I was sat at my table. The staff here are very pleasant and attentive. The food is second to none. The flavours you get from their dishes are like nothing else. We had a bottle of white wine which complimented the food too. I will easily be travelling to Harrogate purely to eat here again. Incredible restaurant!! 🔥

This is a wonderful Thai restaurant and has a lot about it for an authentic feel. The decor perhaps isn’t the most genuine, nor is the background music, but the staff and food certainly make up for that. There’s a small dining area upstairs but the level of service didn’t feel any less than if we’d been seated in the main area downstairs. The menu has a great range, with each item having a decent enough description if you’re new to the cuisine. There was a mix up with our order, meaning it took about an hour to arrive, but the staff were really apologetic and kept us informed about the situation which recovered things. The range of starters are brilliant and it’s great sharing amongst a few people. The fishcakes were more ‘meaty’ than I’d imagined but very tasty. The presentation of each dish was superb and they certainly don’t scrimp on the portion sizes. Some of our starter dishes left us with sticky fingers, so it was s shame no new napkins were brought with the mains. The Kow Pad Nam Prik Pow was very spicy indeed but still oozed flavour and again the portion sizes were huge. Throughout the meal the staff remained attentive and were great with drink refills. Mints were given with the bill, which was a nice touch, and for the quality of the food and service it didn’t feel overly expensive. I’d highly recommend visiting here and hopefully will return soon myself.

We discovered this restaurant a couple of months ago and have been back several times since. The food is amazing, so authentic tasting and fresh with a great variety on offer. I am a vegan and all the curry options can be selected with a range of meats or with tofu and vegetables meaning vegans have a very good choice for a change! The staff are super friendly and attentive and you don’t have to wait too long for your food. We tried another Thai in town which is part of a chain and waited 45 minutes for a drink - no such problem here! Would highly recommend.
