We came here for the secret menu and weren't disappointed at all! We also had the optional wine pairing in addition to the food and it was incredible. The starter of pigeon with mushroom/truffle risotto was out of this world. It was exciting to have pigeon as it's often a forgotten protein but it was incredible and cooked to perfection. The risotto was quite possibly the best I've ever had too. The main course of halibut was the perfect size after such a rich filling starter, light and crisp, just lovely. Finally, the pudding was a beautiful rustic pudding with that homemade pudding made my grandma kind of feel. The interior of the place is beautiful and welcoming without being pretentious. Oh, and the staff are lovely. The guy who served us and explained the meals to us most of the night was such a lovely person and a credit to this place, he made the night so much better. Would love to return here even if it's not for the secret menu!
Had a beautiful dining experience here on 24 April with my daughter, son in law and 10 year old son. Lovely surroundings in a beautiful location. Staff so friendly and helpful and food outstanding. Wine also very delicious. Unsurprisingly was very busy, but were not rushed at all and had the table for the whole evening and no-one telling us “oh we need the table back by this time” Thoroughly recommend this beautiful, friendly, buzzing restaurant with outstanding food and wine - worth a visit to Harrogate just to dine here 😃
The food was really good, the presentation was very nice and overall the taste was of a high standard. We booked for Sunday evening and didn’t realise that we would be limited to the Sunday ‘lunch’ menu, it wasn’t very clear on the website. So this was slightly disappointing but there were a few non roast options too, and in general the quality of the roast was good. The only part of the meal I didn’t enjoy was the pumpernickel crumb on my starter which nearly broke my teeth! The waitress was lovely and the service was very attentive.
Best 3 course roast we have ever had!!
What an unexpected find! From start to finish the Sunday roast experience was exceptional.
Excellent wines, staff who couldn’t do enough for you and possibly the best roast we have ever had in a pub.
The pea ravioli starter was absolutely beautiful, fresh full of flavour and as good as a starter gets.
The roast certainly didn’t disappoint either, everything spot on including delicious meats and roast potatoes and a homemade Yorkshire to die for.
If we could give an 11/10 then we would.
Home cooked fresh and tasty pub food at its best. Beautiful presentation across all 3 courses. Can’t wait to return to Harrogate to try more of the menu!!
Friendly, cosy, cool atmosphere with sensational cocktails and delicious food. Simple but tasty menu. Great service.
Nice touch with complimentary prosecco and a happy anniversary card 👌
Thank you 'Three's a crowd' for a lovely lunch 😀
Couldn't recommend enough!
A great find. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Delicious food, although on the higher price range. Bar decor was lovely and atmosphere on the Friday was very lively too. I would recommend.
Limited menu but there is also a specials board.
Friendly helpful staff.
Food was very good but let down slightly by the triple cooked chips - chips should be crispy on the outside.
Would have given 4 stars for service but everyone seemed to disappear at the same time so we waited over 30 mins to pay .
Visited Threes a Crowd for the first time last night for a double birthday party and what a fantastic experience this was.
We enjoyed a wide range of treats from the menu with cocktails, nibbles, starters, mains and even birthday cake delighting our party.
Threes a Crowd is a great place to spend the evening. First class food, drink, environment and staff. A particular mention and thanks to John, Charles and Chloe who made our evening an absolute treat.
Don’t miss out.... get yourself there!!
Update and photos from August 2020..... another fantastic evening at Three’s a Crowd. Top hosts, John, Charles, Antonio and Clarissa.
Interesting menu with a good variety of options. The scallop starter was particularly delicious as well as the beef short rib. Lamb could have been seared a bit more and lacked a bit of seasoning but overall a good meal. Busy and lively atmosphere. Attentive and friendly staff.
A nice pub and restaurant, very busy. They have received a Michelin star in 2021. Will definitely go back to try out their food. They were only serving nibbles when we went in the afternoon.
