Asked for the table for 3 people. The staff were pleasant when we ordered themeal, they discribed what the food are also very good choice of gluten free meal. Very impressed. Delicious food plus bottle of wine. Good value for money. We would go there again
My two daughters and myself had lunch there on Monday 25th June - a very hot and sunny day and the outside balcony at the Bistro Pierre was a marvellous find!! The waiter was first class as was the very reasonable priced yummy food!!
Without a doubt will go there again when we visit Harrogate ! 100% satisfied!!
Although it's in an unprepossessing building the restaurant has a wonderful terrace and the interior is open without feeling like an aircraft hangar. Service was good without being intrusive. The food was as expected - good quality French classics like boeuf bourguignon and crème brûlée of a reasonable portion size and served at the right temperature. For a good quality lunch without fuss it's my new favourite.
Went here on Tuesday for the "soirée gastronomique". From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we waddled out the staff were brilliant, so friendly, attentive & polite. Then there was the food...absolutely fantastic! Every course (and there were six of them) was faultless. The beef was probably the best I've tasted, amazing. Have eaten at the one in Ilkley before, had an awesome meal there too. Will be back for more!

We eat there very regularly and it is amazing value and maintains a constant quality. The staff are a fantastic assest and always enhance your experience. An added plus is their fabulous loyalty scheme.
This is always our treat when we stay over in Harrogate, we go early for the pre theatre menu though this time had the fin weekend menu (same as pre theatre but with a carafe of wine for a few pounds more). The food is always great quality and the staff are friendly and helpful. Have just found out there is one near us in Sheffield, can't wait to try it out!

Harrogate's branch of Bistro Pierre is set on the second floor above the Sukhothai restaurant, and from the sizeable bar to the prints and mirrors that adorn the walls; the whole restaurant has a sophisticated comfortable feel, a perfect romantic venue. There are tables to suit all sizes of party, with enough space between them so that you don't feel hemmed in. We always prefer to dine on the early side, so we chose their pre-theatre menu for £14.95 apiece for two courses, less choice than the main menu, but still enough variety. We shared a roasted garlic bulb to start, with fresh bread, balsamic vinegar and olive oil which was a great start, flavoursome, but not a huge dish, enough to share for a starter though.
Mains wise, I always struggle to make a choice other than the steak, Bistro Pierre do great steaks! I had the steak fritte, with fries and a dressed salad, fantastic; the peppercorn sauce complimented it perfectly, as did the mushrooms I had as a side order. My wife had the beef bourguignon, with the vegetable accompaniments of broccoli, green beans and red cabbage, with potato gratin. A huge portion, full of flavour; too often beef bourguignon can be on the salty side, this was just right.
After the mammoth mains we had, we opted to choose for the lighter options for dessert, my wife went for the lemon tart, with a caramelised sugar top and raspberry sorbet. I struggled as always with my choice, but ultimately went for the Gateau au Miel, a sticky honey pudding with double ginger ice cream, fantastically light and the ginger ice cream cut through the sweetness of the honey perfectly. All in all, a great meal, in wonderful surroundings.
GREAT restaurant, especially for gluten-free diners!. I was visiting Harrogate recently and went to Le Bistrot Pierre one night because I had heard they had an excellent gluten-free menu. I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was wonderful, the service attentive and friendly, and the food was FABULOUS! I had gluten-free bread with roasted garlic, fried calamari (something I almost never get to eat any more), and chicken breast with a lemon and wine sauce, pancetta, and green onions. One of the best meals I've had in a long time! This restaurant made a huge effort to develop an extensive gluten-free menu with the local Celiac organization, and it definitely paid off. If you are in Harrogate, you must try Le Bistrot Pierre!
Very tasty!!! Home-made chicken liver parfait with toasted sourdough was so tasty that even forgot to take a photo! Perfect waiters! On Saturday a bit noisy and tables are very small. Desert cream brulee was tasty ! Good red wine Cabernet!

What a fantastic meal . There were 4 of us and we all had different starters ,mains and sweets and they were all cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and attentive and the manager who was also waiting tables was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for authentic French meals . My compliments to all the staff and thank you to the chefs who obviously know how to prepare ,cook and deliver fantastic tasty food . Well done to all !!!
Very good restaurant. Go here fairly regular. I usually go with a dinner club I am a member of. We tend to get the "early bird" menu(2 courses for a good rate), before going on to the Cinema or the Theatre.

Elegant, without being over formal. Excellent food. A warm and friendly welcome from the staff. Went out of their way to accommodate my elderly Dad's wheelchair and special dietary requirement. The food is excellent.

This is the place to go for good quality french cuisine at a reasonable price, my wife and I have been going for years and have never had a bad meal or bad service. On top of this they have a very generous reward scheme. Everything you need to know from menu's to price can be downloaded on there app.

Have eaten here a couple of times and had two different experiences. One time it was really good food and excellent service with friendly staff. On the other occasion the food was just as good but one of the staff was unfriendly bordering on rude. A shame but I couldn't go back here with any confidence.
Very pleasant interior with staff giving a warm welcome. Range of menus and offers so be clear on what is available b4 you choose. Tonight was great food and wine. It usually is, although in the last 3 months they have served tuff steak. Attention to detail and quality is never ending .... A lovely meal on the 28th November 2019
I have been a customer since 2011, and have so far never been less than completely satisfied with this stylish restaurant.
The food is exceptionally well prepared and interesting, and is incredibly good value for money. I would especially recommend the creamed mushrooms on toasted brioche with Alsace bacon as a starter.
Service is efficient and professional and the decor is comfortable.
Centrally located in Harrogate. Available to book online, outdoor area quite small but a nice touch. Some parts of the meal was a little on the cool side. As the name suggests menu has a great french influence. Nice stop off during a shopping trip but maybe not for a special occasion.
