A long established restaurant and hotel on the edge of Harrogate town.
It's a beautiful building with plenty of character. The interior is well furnished in an interesting style (not sure about the neon elements). It is not particularly noisy, even when busy.
Service is friendly and professional. We didn't need to wait too long for the food, although it was fairly quiet at the time.
The menus have a good mix of dishes and should appeal to most. Vegan and vegetarian are clearly marked.
The food... Overall it was very good, nicely flavoured and well presented. One of our group had the roast chicken dish. Unfortunately the chicken was rather dry and some of the vegetables weren't hot.
Still happy to recommend and we will be back in the future.
A very nice pub with a garden as impressive as the building itself. We were only there for a drink but the member of bar staff was welcoming, chatty and fast with the service. All the interior decor is clean and modern but the garden is a wonderful space. Although no one else was sat there, the sound of running water in the pond is relaxing and it feels like living in your own country manor! Plenty of seating and tables suitable for groups are also present.
It’s not the cheapest of pubs but for a more special occasion I’d certainly return.

Food is good and the £100 deal for two x three course meals and bottle of wine is good value.
Disappointed some of the vegan desserts have been removed, please bring back the billionaire bar its amazing!
Had a lovely overnight stay at the Pine Martin. Perfect place to stay to go and see the RHS gardens, which are only a 5 min walk away. We had a meal which was really good. Service was very good as was the breakfast. I highly recommend this place.
The only personal criticism would be the decor. Beautiful period place with gross modern eliminated pictures on the walls. Definitely not to my taste, but then I'm a traditionalist 😁
Fantastic place. Decor is unbelievable. Place clean and tidy, service very good. The food was fantastic, went for the pie and certainly didn’t regret it. Cooked to perfection and would highly recommend! Top service from Maxwell

The whole place looked clean and beautiful. Staff were very polite and attentive. The hostess even relocated us to a table better suited for our family member on crutches who needed to put her leg up! The food was delicious for the most part. However it took a very long time to come and some meals had gone cold. Our only guess is that an allergy had been forgotten about and some food waited while others were remade. Otherwise it was lovely!
Whilst in the UK, this has to be one of the best British experiences by far and I'm pretty sure we found Harrogates hidden gem!
We had a pretty dope vegan feast, extremely filling fit for a king and super yummy! The Vegan Nourish Bowl was an absolute knockout, extremely vibrant, fresh, colorful and bursting with flavor. The entire experience was great, even down to the aesthetics and plates used was such a great vibe.
A cool, traditional and quaint joint absolutely bustling with locals which is a definete reflection on it being the best spot in the area for some post hiking grub! This place is literally like a modern day decor'd castle or fortress. More than ample comfortable, cosy and trendy seating including a huge outdoor yard area with water features and a great sunny drinking spot.

Absolutely amazing food, service was very good and the atmosphere just what you wanted for a Sunday dinner on a wet cold Sunday. Would highly recommend. Book in advance to not be disappointed
Okay, very handy for Harlow Carr Gardens, (walking distance). Ample parking. Short Taxi ride into Harrogate. Well stocked bar, friendly staff.
Rooms very spacious with good toilet, shower, plenty of hot water.
No lift to 1st Floor.
Public toilets were on 1st Floor, which is inconvenient, especially if disabled.
Rooms were key lock which seems a bit dated.
Background music was mainly for modern generation and not to our taste.
