What a great little discovery, if you like garlic in your food there are come cracking items on the menu. Chicken, chorizo and garlic Calzone was awesome. Good sized portions and friendly knowledgable staff, very satisfied.
We have been here 4 weeks in a row. Amazing food and service. The South African Chef goes out of his way to look after you x tailors the food to your taste. Great bar staff team. Genuinely great team work. Would strongly recommend
First visit and only for a drink, they do serve food. A good selection of beers, on this occasion Timothy Taylor's dark went down a treat. Well decorated, a good atmosphere and very dog friendly.
We called in here after visiting the model shop because the sign said dog friendly, which they are. The service was good and the food was amazing. I ordered falafels and spicy couscous with a side salad. It was one of my best meals ever, so tasty and fresh. A lovely meal. Recommended.
Great to see this pub doing so well. I always enjoy dropping in for a swift one when there is time for myself. A great place to meet friends for a chat and a bite to eat, take the dog or the kids or even the husband if you must! Food always fab and they have a great selection of Gin as well as be
A visit to Harrogate took us to this lovely place. Very clean. Lovely beers and delicious food. (Bacon chop was fab). Quirky with it's dog friendly atmosphere and dog treats. Extremely clean loos (always a good sign to a good pub). There was a wonderful sparkle to the pub, (not just in a clean sense
Parking is a bit challenging so be prepared to drive around for a few minutes to find a spot in the surrounding area. Inside is very clean, bright and updated. Modern seating and plenty of space. The bar is well stocked and the food comes out fairly quick. The menu is standard pub fare but there
Have lots of Belgian beers as well as several cask ales. Their food is semi-upscale pub food, but in a casual atmosphere. Not a dark wood and dim lighting type pub, but still good ambiance. Great burgers as well (beef is mixed with herbs and spices... almost sausage like).
I have used this lovely establishment for a good couple of years with my partner and seen as the landlord used to work at the "Old Bell", you would expect it to be of a similar ilk, and you won't be disappointed!!...More modern in its décor than the Bell, my only personal wish, is the lighting could
We were a large party who where attending conference in Harrogate. The staff at the Swan had reserved an area of the pub for us which was cosy and comfortable. They even dedicated a member of their staff to take our orders at the table and set up individual bills for each of us to avoid us all lin
Fantastic lunch with my 7yo daughter today. Staff very welcoming and good with my daughter. We played jenga while waiting for our food. Waiter and chef really friendly and suggested one of the specials I had the bunny chow as recommended by the South African chef. Delicious chicken curry stuffed in
Nicely refurbed. Good selection of beers and food menu .. Sunday lunch ok . Veg nicely cooked .. Pork unfortunately looked prepacked rather than a fresh roast.. and a bit thin and dry . Wife had Beef and that looked better.. will return
Left by one of our fabulous regulars; The Swan, Is it "on the stray"? Isn't it? Who cares! Two or four legged friends are greeted with a smile. A friendlier pub there isn't for miles. Nicky 12/05/22
Very quiet Sunday PM, good beer, knowledgeable and helpful barman. Hadn't previously known of the nice quiet beer garden with a covered area, which was handy because it was wet.
The character of the pub has changed since the introduction of the televisions. Not sure if I like it but time will tell. On the positive side they have started providing food.
