First visit and only for a drink, they do serve food. A good selection of beers, on this occasion Timothy Taylor's dark went down a treat. Well decorated, a good atmosphere and very dog friendly.

Very quiet Sunday PM, good beer, knowledgeable and helpful barman. Hadn't previously known of the nice quiet beer garden with a covered area, which was handy because it was wet.

We have been here 4 weeks in a row. Amazing food and service. The South African Chef goes out of his way to look after you x tailors the food to your taste. Great bar staff team.

What a great little discovery, if you like garlic in your food there are come cracking items on the menu. Chicken, chorizo and garlic Calzone was awesome. Good sized portions and friendly knowledgable staff, very satisfied.

Fantastic lunch with my 7yo daughter today. Staff very welcoming and good with my daughter. We played jenga while waiting for our food. Waiter and chef really friendly and suggested one of the specials I had the bunny chow as recommended by the South African chef. Delicious chicken curry stuffed in side half a loaf of bread with some curry and rice in the side. Nice n spicy and very tasty, all washed down with a pint of boltmaker!
My daughter had chicken nuggets, chips and beans (always a winner).
Fabulous meal and very child friendly (recommend lunchtimes).

The character of the pub has changed since the introduction of the televisions. Not sure if I like it but time will tell. On the positive side they have started providing food.

We called in here after visiting the model shop because the sign said dog friendly, which they are. The service was good and the food was amazing. I ordered falafels and spicy couscous with a side salad. It was one of my best meals ever, so tasty and fresh. A lovely meal. Recommended.

We were a large party who where attending conference in Harrogate. The staff at the Swan had reserved an area of the pub for us which was cosy and comfortable. They even dedicated a member of their staff to take our orders at the table and set up individual bills for each of us to avoid us all lining up at the busy bar. The menu was varied, reasonably priced and the food tasty and good quality . It was an enjoyable evening and I would return.

Great to see this pub doing so well. I always enjoy dropping in for a swift one when there is time for myself. A great place to meet friends for a chat and a bite to eat, take the dog or the kids or even the husband if you must! Food always fab and they have a great selection of Gin as well as beer! One of my favourite places
