Reviews of Foundry Project Harrogate

This review is a must - my partner and I spent the whole day and night round Harrogate drinking and this is the only bar where the member of staff went out of her way to make lovely real conversation she is definitely a credit to you. We actually at first came in for a cocktail but we ended up getting light bite food to put us on as was eating later and the food was good, We then ended up with six cocktails. Beautiful cosy bar but that little bit more different to the rest of the bars from the lovely lady which was serving that day, hope you can pass this on. ( Thursday 12th April she had dark hair tied back, think maybe her name was Rachel ) We will be back when next in Harrogate.

2nd time visiting the foundry project, and so glad we returned. Ordered plenty of food from the menu, burgers, pizza and the 3 for £18 Beer Food. All spot on, you could taste how fresh the ingredients were. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Harrogate. Staff were extremely welcoming and fantastic customer service. Would recommend trying the ‘Fill a Watermelon’ cocktail, 2 for £12 on happy hour! 🍸

The Foundry Project is a stylish bar with an industrial design. Well layed out over 2 levels with handicap access. The menu includes various pizzas , hamburgers, side plates and vegetarian/vegan options. Drinks are served at the table and the food is served rapidly. The waitresses are very welcoming, friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is relaxed with background music and you can easily hold a conversation without having to raise your voice. We love it here and we will definitely be back.

My first visit to Foundry Project but it won't be the last. The food was excellent and the service just as good. We were served by Rachel who was knowledgeable about the menu and nothing was too much trouble. She was attentive without being intrusive and really friendly throughout. The Buddha Bowl was excellent. My companions had a pizza and a Halloumi burger respectively and pronounced them excellent. The skinny chips were swapped out for fat chips without issue and our two desserts among three people were not an issue at all. Three spoons were brought and both the chocolate brownie and sticky toffee pudding were absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend the chips which were shared between us and were perfectly cooked and really fluffy. Portion sizes were just right and overall this was a really, really enjoyable meal. The restaurant was reasonably quiet when we visited but the atmosphere was lovely and it meant we could talk easily over lunch. Overall, I'd highly recommend.

We had a fabulous meal for our a Christmas works party on 2/12/23. The service from Ray and Charlot was amazing and they made our evening perfect with the great service, nothing was too much trouble. The only slight drawback for this amazing place is that it was a bit noisy for us and we struggled to hear our conversations.

I have really enjoyed this place in the past. But over the last couple of months things have changed. Today i came in to the opening time of 12pm with doors locked. 1206 doors opened. Ordered English breakfast minus tomatoes and mushrooms. Meal that came was disappointing. One egg, one hash brown etc. Might have been nice an extra egg since i took off menu items. Baked beans were bland with no flavor. No condiments with meal. Had to ask for salt and pepper. Ask a customer if they want condiments with a full English breakfast. Maybe ask if they would like a substitute for items taken off meal. If it was not for the pinball i would not go there again.
