Delicious home-made made-to-order gluten-free carrot cake
I have been to Cooking Fantastic many times and sampled many of Tanya's delicious home-made cakes, so she was the first person I thought of when I was looking for someone to make a large gluten-free carrot cake for a family occasion. Shame I didn't take a photo as it looked fabulous.... and it tasted even better! So moist and fresh with a very tasty topping on it. It went down an absolute storm with my family. I realised when collecting it that Tanya also makes fruit pies to order, so I'll definitely be ordering one of those in the future too.
Highly recommended - Tanya is such a lovely person, the kitchenware shop is an Aladdin's cave of all sorts of gadgets you never realised you wanted or needed (!), and the cakes are simply delicious. And which other kitchenware shop can you go to where you can drink coffee and eat home-made cake while you browse?! Thanks a million, Tanya.

Good range of baking to accompany usual coffee offerings. Pleasant staff. Alladdins cave of cooking equipment. A cooks dream come true. A pleasant stop. Access via short single track/lane with passing places. Site also has camping area and cottages to let. A short distance from Harrogate.

Cooking Fantastic. Brilliant Cook Shop and excellent little Cafe. Lovely helpful Staff. A big smile welcome, thats so nice! The cakes are so tasty and well made. Cake of the week was perfect. A very nice Latte to wash it all down. You cannot beat Yorkshire for service with a smile. Defently worth a visit. Well done guys. 10 out of 10!

An excellent place for a homemade cake and lovely little cook shop with loads of helpful advice about what to buy (if required). Amazing staff and customer service.

Excellent place. The cooking shop is like a aladins cave. I bought some amazing items (mini butter knife is so cute) at great prices. staff are super friendly. Tip. Stay on track till the end. And look for the naughty stuff on mugs and aprons.
I will be in here weekly!

Every time I visit this amazing set up of Tea Room and ideal shop for anything pertaining to the kitchen, baking, cooking and walking our mini Dachshounds! WE ARE SO PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY THE VERY FRIENDLY LADIES serving at the tables . This is such a unique place to visit with family and friends. We have even considered camping there!!
