Recently revamped and looking fab. Usual great quality and lots of variety with a new room housing a play area for amongst other things, various family events. One of the few places still paying close attention to a covid safe space!
Great idea for a truly children friendly cafe. Attention to details. Great homemade food. Nice decor. Toys and books for children. They organize events for half term/holidays.
We arrived here after being sent past it using sat nav. It sits next to the co-op facing the road but due to the cafés signage it's not clear what it is until you are nearer. Cafe shows signs of past events, glitter and paint on the tables, but this I found quite relaxing as we were there for a craft event. The staff were pleasant and got into character for the day. We had a themed afternoon tea included with our experience and it looked great. All the food was homemade but I would say the ingredients used were not of the quality I prefer. Sliced meat with stuffing that was clearly from a packet and also the ham was of a child quality. I would certainly go back here, I'd just opt for a different sandwich.
