Squinting Cat, Greene King - Harrogate - Photo album

Booked a table, not really needed as it was lovely and quiet. Decided to have our first bar meal out since the pandemic began. Staff were friendly, approachable and relaxed. Atmosphere was a bit like a library but we needed the peace and quiet ❤️ We ordered hand battered fish and chips (with peas)
Food is fast and nice, allowed me to sneak a food order in despite temporarily halting food due to big party bookings. Nice quiet location and staff very friendly. Have since been back. Beef tacos were nice, also tried the peri chicken tacos which were nice but very spicy. Would recommend the millio
Midweek treat. The combined offer makes it great value. The gammon is always good, she had the Jamaican Stew but was shy of letting me take a snap !
This is the third time we have eaten here. Lovely food you cannot fault and service with a smile. Good value for money as well. We stayed over in our motorhome which is really good of them to allow. Wish we lived nearer will be stopping off again. Thank for the hospitality
Decent food at a fair price, ordered via the Greene King app, and was served quickly and politely. Was fairly quiet, which was good for us. Will definitely go back
Stopped over for one night in our motorhome. Andy the manager was an excellent host. Very welcoming. Reasonable prices for very good food and drink. We will definitely return.
Great restaurant. Great place to eat. Very polite waiters.
Lovely environment x friendly staff x makes sure you are happy and have a good laugh with you. Really good food and good prices. Me and dad had the food challenges. 16 wings challenge and chick'n'mix challenge and we both ate them. Photo below is the chicken one I ate and I did pretty well
Landlord was welcoming, he was happy to take our food order. The owner explained there was a wait on food. (you have to book tables ahead of your visit or will be turned away) wonderful service, Lovely food, worth the trip out. the amazing food and vibe. It's my favorite place to eat and relax.
Great food dog friendly. Made to feel very welcome. Let us park our vw camper and stop over in carpark for night. Lots of outdoor space to sit in as well of warm.
We have been regularly eating at the Squinting Cat for over 15 years now. Each time the menu changes we go to sample the new fare on offer. The new menu doesn't disappoint the share platters are excellent value for money and very tasty too. Please book to avoid being disappointed . Thanks to the tea
