First visit in a while and also since re-vamp. In my/our opinion it is better than before even though we did like it before it was done out. The menu is good and the food was excellent. Nice and hot and well presented. It has a much better feel about the place. Very Modern. (yes I know it should be as it's just been done) If you're an ale fan there is a vast selection to choose from instead of just your standard choices within a modern eatery. The place is even dog friendly with dog biscuits at the ready. The people had obviously been before as their dogs knew where to go and wait for the biscuits.
The Manager and staff were very good and attentive where possible. A good place to go.
Great food is just the start, then there’s the staff, a really helpful and friendly bunch with great service and customer care.
Definitely recommend this place as we will return time and time again while it’s like this.

Booked a table, not really needed as it was lovely and quiet. Decided to have our first bar meal out since the pandemic began.
Staff were friendly, approachable and relaxed. Atmosphere was a bit like a library but we needed the peace and quiet ❤️
We ordered hand battered fish and chips (with peas), and loaded steak sunday. Tasty, good portions +price. Even got to try a unique cider whilst I was there. Well worth the walk over, we will be back again.. Great to find a welcoming local for us 🥰

We are now regulars, loving each dish we get & I'm trying pale ales and IPA guest ales each time I'm in. Not had one reaction to any of the dishes which are milk free (really badly intolerant to dairy protein), so for me this place is heaven!

Still reaction free when having dishes, using my 20% off food discount is really easy. We struggle to go regularly due to my recent change in job, but hopefully this will change soon! Staff have changed but a few regular faces left. Nothing changed a lot, and service still really good!
Food is fast and nice, allowed me to sneak a food order in despite temporarily halting food due to big party bookings. Nice quiet location and staff very friendly. Have since been back. Beef tacos were nice, also tried the peri chicken tacos which were nice but very spicy. Would recommend the millionaire topped fries, such a pleasant and unique sauce.
Midweek treat. The combined offer makes it great value. The gammon is always good, she had the Jamaican Stew but was shy of letting me take a snap !
This is the third time we have eaten here. Lovely food you cannot fault and service with a smile. Good value for money as well. We stayed over in our motorhome which is really good of them to allow. Wish we lived nearer will be stopping off again. Thank for the hospitality
Decent food at a fair price, ordered via the Greene King app, and was served quickly and politely. Was fairly quiet, which was good for us. Will definitely go back

Landlord was welcoming, he was happy to take our food order. The owner explained there was a wait on food. (you have to book tables ahead of your visit or will be turned away) wonderful service, Lovely food, worth the trip out. the amazing food and vibe. It's my favorite place to eat and relax.
Great food dog friendly. Made to feel very welcome. Let us park our vw camper and stop over in carpark for night. Lots of outdoor space to sit in as well of warm.
