Brilliant little shop near Valley Gardens!
Only been in a couple times, but I like seeing all the Harrogate and Yorkshire gifts. I do wish they had more magnets in the gift department. They did have some lined up near the till, but they should have been with the other gifts.
I ended up getting some I didn't like as much because the others were near till and I hadn't noticed until my boyfriend had paid.
Also, I'm grateful for the fact they have a little "free from" section along the wall, but with the loose chocolates at the counter, most of the vegan chocolates had sold out already and it was only 11:30am. I don't know if they were restocked later, but I think the more dietary requirement chocolates should have more availability. My partners mum had a very limited choice when she came in today.
Other than that, lovely little shop with a proper old-school feel, and I will take any people I know who visit to look for little souvenirs :)
Amazing sweet shop, hundreds of different sweets, chocolates, fudges, truffles. Good selection of gifts and humorous signs, the shop may look tiny from the front but just keeps on going.....

Wonderful old-fashioned sweet shop! Worthy of stopping by for a treat whilst touring Harrogate. Their toffee tins alone are nice to have as a memento of having been to Harrogate.

Stepping into Farrah's is like a trip down memory. The range of sweets is straight out of my childhood and there's even sweet 'tobacco'! Unlike the corner sweet shops where there were shelves full of jars, all of the sweets are pre packed in clear plastic bags and quite a bit more expensive than "back in the day", but its fun to search through the shelves for your favourite indulgence. Further into the shop you'll find a large selection of gifts and upstairs you'll find the Palm Court Cafe 😊
