Lovely location, interesting shop and dog friendly cafe/restaurant. Lovely flat white coffee and a cheese scone to feed two. Loved it.

We had a gathering at Grass Roots to celebrate my wife's Birthday and it was perfect. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating, everyone commented on how good the food was (we had cream teas and some bubbly), the setting is spacious comfortable and a bit different!!

Fabulous food, we stopped en route to a short break with 3 adults and two kids. The food was brilliant as was the service! We stop here every year on our annual holiday and it's great to see the quality remains to such a high standard each time we visit 😁

Really lovely place. The food is great and the coffee is amazing. Perfect place for family, especially there’s a Wild West cowboy theme house for kids. My daughter loves there to bits. Highly recommended to everyone.

The owners are attempting to put this place on the map, and rightfully so, its lovely. I call in when I can and each time there's something new. Looks like the conservatory's nearly ready too. Just try the soups - yum.

Called on the way back from Ripley Castle and Christmas Fayre. Really nice gift shop, garden centre and café serving good quality fresh food. Managed to get wysteria plants I had been looking for.
