It’s a good place to have some Bengali food. I went from a far to meet my craving of my own cuisine. The owner & all the stuffs were really good. Quality & taste was also good 👍. Aam panna mojito” was the best item we taste. Highly recommended to taste once.
But I should definitely say that there is definite scope for enhancing the taste of food to make it more authentic.
We will expect better quality in terms of authenticity of food in the next time.
A hidden gem in Harrow, close to Rayners Lane Underground station. One of the best restaurants serving bengali cuisines in London. I ordered Koraishutir Kochuri, Fish Fry and Mutton Biryani.
1 portion of Kochuri comes with 2 pieces of kochuris and Alur Dom. Alur dom was a little too "tomato-ey" for my taste and the kochuris were 2-D, not 3-D 😂.
1 portion of Fish fry comes with 2 pieces of Sea Bass fish, Kasundi and salad. While the fish was good, I found the Kasundi to be watery, i.e. diluted to reduce the strong mustardy flavour which was a big letdown for me.
Mutton Biryani comes with 2 pieces of mutton (with bone), a potato, an egg, raita and salad.
Overall, the food is good, but there is still room for improvement. Price is a bit on the higher side for the portion served.
I would still recommend, specially my Bong friends in London to give this place a try.
Great food. Helpful staff. We tried out several dishes and every dish is a hit. Being the only Indian Bengali Restaurant, they serve quality ethnic dishes.
If you are in London and looking for some unique flavors, try this restaurant. Also, do ask the staff for house specials.
Would highly recommend.

They kept on increasing their level.
Food was amazing and they customise according to your choice as well.
Must try the Fish Fry and the Biryani here.
Absolutely delicious authentic Bengali food (coming from a Bengali guy). Closest to the taste I could relate back from Kolkata. Still some areas to improve taste wise in some dishes but much better than any typical Indian/ Bengali restaurant. Highly recommended for those seeking to try authentic Indian food from the Bengal region.
This is truly the best, Indian as well as Bengali restaurant in London!!! I am not exaggerating.
Must try-
Lamb kosha
Fish Paturi (smoked fish wrapped in banana leaves)
Aloo posto
Fish cutlets
However, the location is a very unfortunate disadvantage to this brilliant find.
Had they been based at a more central location like Covent Garden or Tooting, they would not have been able to control the crowd. I would love to visit again and again but distance becomes a barrier.
One of the very few Indian restaurants in London serving East Indian Bengali cuisine (not Bangladeshi). The menu has some Kolkata specialities like chilly chicken dry, peas kochuri with aloor dom, fish fry etc. The prices are reasonable and the taste is good as well.
Improvement area:
1. The chairs and table could've been more clean.
2. Chilly chicken dry should've been little more dry.
Wow! Posto showed me that Indian food can be done so differently.
I've never like the look or taste of beetroot, yet I kept going back for more of their tasty beetroot balls.
If you are looking for an Indian cuisine that is different and a new taste then look no further.
Great service and friendly atmosphere. We held an event with 27 people & their team were able to handle us. I'm going to definitely recommended this restaurant to my friends and family.
A rare gem of a restaurant serving authentic Indian cuisines especially Calcutta style biriyani(with the quintessential Aloo & Dim of course !) & kathi rolls. The taste was nothing less than super delicious. Everything was well taken care of including the hygiene in serving the food and the ambience. I would recommend ordering the gajar halwa for dessert and for the cherry on the top you have the hostess - Pritha Mukherjee's welcoming smile.
Must try-
Kochuri-aloo dum
Fish Fry
Mutton Biryani
Gajar Halwa
the food is so good especially the kochuri and aloo dum, kosha mangsho, kolkata biryani and laccha paratha. is a real shame you don’t get good service. the staff were untrained and unmotivated and under too much pressure. my family really love the food and miss it!
I really liked this place. The service was exceptional. My favourite dish was the daal makhni (or black daal). Close to one of the best I have had. This place is a high 4. My friends enjoyed the restaurant as well.
We ordered quite a lot. There was a large party and our group in the restaurant. The staff were so accommodating it was almost like being at home. They made recommendations and suggestions and were even willing for us to order items off menu. We had the chilli paneer, the peas kachori (peas puri and potato curry), jackfruit curry, aubergine curry, daal makhni and puri.
My only complaint was that their online menu did not match the menu in the restuarant. In particular mogo was not available.
Definitely worth a visit!
