We had a lovely experience. At the Gana restaurant. The service was very professional by Mr Surya who looked after us very well. He was very friendly and explained to us clearly and precisely about the food items. And the service is also fast. We highly recommend this restaurant. It is a must-visit for sure and deserves 5*

My absolute favourite Sri Lankan place! There’s a great climbing centre nearby so we like to go there and work up an appetite just so we can eat more at Gana :) and even then we order enough for leftovers, because it’s just that good. And it isn’t too expensive either!
Definitely try the marai fry, the kothu roti, and the red Jaffna aubergine curry - also, the lumprais is very good, it’s basically a self contained meal. And if you like your spice - ask for your food spicy and you’ll get your wish.

We hosted a family get together with 60 people and hired the private Gaana hall adjacent to the restaurant. The food service was quick and efficient - there was only 1 waiter attending to us however he was extremely quick on his feet and looked after us well. He had a very positive attitude and body language made us feel at home. The food as always was of good quality and standard - the starters were enjoyed the most by everyone. We had more vegetarian guests than expected but the team were quick to sort food out for them. Thank you to the team for hosting us - special thanks to Surya for taking care of all our needs especially for doing all the hard-work with a smile on his face.
