Visiting from Canada, they lied about the "managers special". The sign clearly reads that a burger and chips is £2.99 and an extra burger is only £1. They charged me £3.99 and an extra £1.25 for a second patty, not even a 2nd burger, never specified that it was just a 2nd piece of burnt beef. See the proof below. Should of just left when they overcharged me.

Lively reasonable price drinks, good atmosphere. Good crowd. Accessible for wheelchair users. Outdoor seating with umbrellas. Cabins inside for privacy seating. Bar staff is quite helpful and cheerful they do like having a laugh.

Stopped here for breakfast. Pretty poor service. Food served cold. When we questioned the food being cold the staff didn't really care.
The place was not busy, 80% empty.
Providing a cooked breakfast isn't hard to get right but they weren't able to get it right.
But the worst part was the attitude of the staff. They really didn't care and virtually threw the money back at us.
Pretty poor.

Excellent, 99p a Pint just day b4 2nd lockdown, order yummy chips, chicken wings n nachos from 3 for 7.50 excellent quality and quantity too. Best spent during eat out help out. Looking forward to for lockdown to finish to try again the same order.

This is part of the weathspoons chain. Easy to order using the app on mobile and food was hot and tasty. Busy, clean friendly atmosphere. Good extensive menu choices with special nights. Good drink prices. Something to please everyone.

The food seems a lot better here than at any other Weatherspoon's pub I've been to. Maybe they have a better chef. The breakfasts we had were great and the fish and chips was very good. I'm going to work through the entire menu! The beer is very good value. Only £3.10p for a pint of Stella! The staff are very friendly and attentive. They have comfortable booths that you can eat in, which gives you some privacy. Love the place.
