Nice food with a good choice for evening meals. Good choice of drinks too! Breakfast was a buffet style with cooked and continental options. All items were constantly topped up so they didn't run out, plenty of juices, water and hot drinks available.

We used a meeting room in last Christmas festive season and year before. Emilia Ramesh and her team were amazing. Food were well as well. In regards to atmosphere we were a big party so we created atmosphere. Well done guys

I recently held a reception here for a wake and I have to say that I was very satisfied with the experience. The team leader Frank really went out of his way to ensure that everything was right, checking with me and proactively calling to resolve any queries.
The buffet food actually exceeded my expectations, it was tasty and well prepared and a great price of £11pp including desert. We used the private reception room which was good, though a decor update in due course would be even better.
Well done Travellers rest team! I will likely be back for other events.

Very nice steakhouse with good food and great decor. The waiting staff is really nice and helpfull. The place is combined with a pub and an inn that show the same sevice and quality of product.
I personally like the steaks but there are some vegan optioneel on the menu that also taste great.
The prices are reasonable, we ate with 2 persons and paid 25 pp including the drinks

I must say a big thank you to Emelia for looking after my guests.
Travellers Rest gave us a special space for about 50 people food was great
different selection of starters, mains and desserts. Many thanks to Emelia Georgina, the young man, I didn't get his name he was great and the rest of the team for making sure all our orders and drinks were all as expected. They really looked after us and the event ran smoothly all the guests went home happy. I will highly recommend Travellers Rest to anyone. Come and meet Emelia and her great team

I had The Steak Sampler (3x 4oz steaks +trimmings) and everyone else had the Surf+Turf (8ox Sirloin +calamari +2x huge prawns +side) really good sized meals, excellent value, and perfectly cooked. Service was great.
