This is by far the best vegetarian restaurant I have ever been to. I have begun to eat here almost every day. The staff are incredibly friendly, the food is reasonably priced and most importantly their food is fresh and absolutely fantastic. The best part is they're only up the road from me! I would recommend this place to anyone and whenever I have guests I try my best to show them this jewel of a restaurant. Special shout out to Bavish for helping me discover the dishes best suited for me and treating me like a good friend.
Amazing food and lovely people especially Bhavesh Bhai. Our favourites palak paneer, lasuni dal, pav bhaji, Chinese bhel, masala logo and not to forget the mouth watering wada pav!
What a fantastic place in Harrow (near London) for Indian street food!
The masala chai and the vada pav were fantastic! So were the samosas.
And the ambience is so cool! Reminded me of Mumbai fast food joints!
When we went, the coupons in app couldn't be used in the restaurant - which was a bummer.
Wonderful place to eat authentic Indian street food full of with all the spices and flavours . Fresh food with quick service. Paneer Frankie was so delicious and special part was it was wrapped in a Chapati ( Roti ) .
Samosa chaat was tangy and tasty.
Chai the hero of the meal . Absolutely refreshing chai .
Overall the best place to taste india street food .
The food here was just amazing. Had a pav bhaji which was the closest it could get to the typical Mumbai one. The vada pav had a bit more of the sweet chutney (more than my liking) but was good too. Should definitely try the mango lassi too. It’s a shame that the place is small and one would have to wait to be seated. The staff was friendly and quick.
Having followed these Guys on Facebook for some time and realised that they had opened in Croydon I decided that we needed to visit.
We are not local so had to travel from East Sussex.
When we arrived it was around 230, so I was surprised to see it fairly busy which is definitely a good sign.
Looking around I couldn't help but notice that all the diners were ethnic, which I also felt was a plus as the cuisine was likely to be authentic.
There is a wide array of food that it was difficult to choose, so I waited in line and asked for help from the server, who by looking at my till receipt was called Hissham. He asked if we like spicy or mild and suggested some items.
In the end we decided to have the meal deal and as I was concerned we wouldn't get much I ordered a side of chips, which once the food was presented to us I immediately regretted as the food was plentiful.
Unfortunately I have never been lucky enough to go to Mumbai, so I haven't been able to sample street food, but this food was delicious and very difficult to any other Indian food that I have tasted.
Thanks to everyone for providing us the perfect meal, we are already planning a return visit
A favourite for me as a takeaway, they have bumped up their prices recently but their prices are still reasonable and the food is still good for what you pay.
The only small complaint I would have is that they need to be a bit more accurate with collection times - I got there 5-10 mins after my collection time and they still needed me to wait another 5-10 mins.
Great food. Been coming for many years however recentlt i noticed something that disappoints me. Please stop using cheese sauce instead of real cheese in the Vada Pav. It does not taste the same regardless of this cost cutting change. Real cheese > Cheese sauce.
Thank you
Wonderful little gem. Wholesome & tasty food - just like home cooking. Better than most of the fanciest resteaurants. Your taste buds will thank you for coming here
I used to go there a lot with my friends after college. It was one of our hangout place. We used to spend lot of time there enjoying food and just chatting about. We loved the vada pav and pav bhaji, it was our regular order. We tried other things from menu too. The food, service and the atmosphere there was amazing.
This place is so good. The best vada pav and pav Bhaji I have had in London. For £1, the vada pavs are unmissable.. The masala chai is compulsory too.. we also tried mango and pista kulfi.. pista kulfi was a good end of the meal. Go for papdi chaat and chilly idli. Avoid dabeli and dosa.
Food isn't too bad and way off the Bombay taste they promise.
Keep away from the bathroom as it is full of mosquitoes 🦟
