Ammas bucket does not offer dine in, they only do Uber eats or takeaway orders. Their menu is quite decent with limited food. We have ordered chicken kothu / mutton kothu and biryani. The potion size is quite good, enough for 4-5people and very reasonable for the price.
We have been using the service of Ammasbuckets for our house parties for some considerable time now and would not go to anyone else. From the quality of the food and their service, it really was absolutely fantastic and we had huge amounts of positive feedback from our guest on how delicious the food was. The food was freshly cooked on the day and delivered on time.Thanks to the whole team for the amazing food and their service. I highly recommend and will be using Ammasbuckets for future events!
I ordered following on Deliveroo -
1. Veg fried rice - quantity was good but was too too spicy. The veggies tasted raw
2. Mutton rolls - 2 no's, spicy again, mutton was hard and a bit rubbery
3. Chicken curry and parotta - was good but quantity of curry was a bit less , sufficient only for one person.
This cost of all this was £15, which is quite economical.
Overall, the food was very spicy , so I wouldn't be ordering again. But whoever likes spicy food , can try it out.

Absolutely delicious and unbeatable in taste compared to many others. Ammasbuckets have been my go-to for over two years due to their exceptional taste and professionalism. They always deliver the most authentic Sri Lankan cuisine you could hope for. Consistency in taste is one of their most commendable aspects, they never fall short of expectations. Every dish they make is wonderful and the praise for the food at every event I've organised has been endless. If you're seeking a reliable caterer with a genuine touch, Ammasbuckets food is a safe bet.
1st time: The spice level despite opting for medium was way too much.
Maybe introduce a mild version too.
The chicken 65 was way too dry and hard. Had much better.
The rice was decent.
Kottu was too spicy.
Very less prawns. Chicken pieces were many.
Good quantity.
Okay if you want to have hot 🔥 food.
2nd time: Ordered the biryani -mutton and chicken. This time as requested the spice was definitely tolerable. However the mutton pieces were very few. The meat was very dry. Biryani got to be soft the rice and meat.
If feedback is read and worked upon might order again.

We've heard of Amma's a few times from other people so decided to give it a go... Definitely the best mutton kothu I've had in Harrow! Really well presented in the bucket and tasted great so will be going back.
The food was wonderful. I tried this out for the first time. I had to write in the comments for the spice level to be mild. Might be useful to have that option whilst ordering. It was the right level of spice.

I ordered mutton, prawn and vegetable biriyani for a party and everyone couldn't stop talking about how good the food was! The portion sizes were generous and the prices were really great. They accommodated all the last minute changes and recommended different options that worked better for me in terms of cost and portion size. I will be recommending them to others and will definitely be ordering from here again!
