Today was our first visit to the cafe, and we tasted the “big breakfast” “panini’s “ “hot-chocolate” and “tea”. For our first visit we were amazed, the customer services was top standard, the food portions were so filling it was hard to finish, I would also highly recommend the hot chocolates even the hazelnut one as it tastes like Nutella. Also the food was not greasy or burnt or fatty, everything they served was in a healthy tasty way, which made it not lay heavy on our belly’s. I would highly recommend this cafe, I will be returning as it’s the best food I’ve tasted so far

Such a nice place. Amazing staff and awsome food and drinks :D would definitely recommend to anybody.
Yummy food for a great price! My favorite place in town to grab a cuppa tea. Great range of food including paninis, loaded chips and cake!
Friendly staff, or proprietors, and a central location, being on Victoria Road, immediately behind a well-used bus stop. The place could have been a bit cleaner, but it was late in the day and it may have been busy just before we arrived. Unfortunately the cafe closes at 4 pm, as we were politely reminded a couple of times. The coffee Americano was great. The special "high tea" was quite alright, but somehow felt out of place here. Being in the city, there is no outlook, so this cafe really depends on passing trade. Parking nearby behind the Grange centre is convenient.
Just had a pumpkin spice hotchoc and it was delicious, fast and friendly. Lovely place to sit and chill out.
Great traditional food, lovely crisp chips, nice to see teas loose served in a tea pot.
Great iced coffee, great staff, wish I had more time to get a breakfast, they smelt phenomenol
Love this place. Must remember to order cheesecake. Try the bacon and double egg butties. O.M.G it's amazing.
So, a small group of us went for afternoon tea here. It's a lovely little coffee shop, with the most friendly and accommodating staff. The window seat allows you to watch people milling around, off on the bus and so on.
We had afternoon tea, a delicious combination of cakes and sandwiches and either tea or coffee. There was one of our group with 'simple' tastes who the staff were happy to help!
It's a great value, family owned place with good food and drink. What's not to like.
Popped in today for a latte and a big breakfast it come to £8
Nice friendly staff and free parking for 1-hour Behind the shop which is Avenue Road / market place
Be definitely going back used to always go to the Galley in the town centre itself but from now on I will be coming here
It's the personal touch that I like
This intimate little café is a gem. First off, the staff are friendly and helpful. The coffee isn't your bobby basic wholesale stuff; it's delicious and they must source it differently. They always have some form of decoration up and take that side of it seriously. The other thing that is unique in Hartlepool is the chance to buy a "suspended coffee" for somebody else (in partnership with a local charity). What they don't shout about is that for every suspended coffee bought by a customer, they will match it. Just a brilliant place.
Super friendly staff and runs a suspended coffee scheme where they match customer input. Really great place and a refelreshing change from coffee chains hussel and bustle. Candles on all tables and a nice selection of pastries too. I will be back next time I'm in town!
