The Blue Bells

Good little find. Food was amazing. There is a special deal on two courses for £13.95. Everything was delicious even down to the salad with dressing on it. The waitress Gabby was very efficient even though she was running the bar, taking orders, serving food and taking payment all by herself. Will definitely be back.

Food & service were excellent the braised beef in peppercorn sauce (half mash/half chips) was really really good. Staff were friendly and polite. Was worried on arrival (very few cars in the carpark) and only two other diners (although the kitchen was busy with takeaways - which explained the number of cars being much greater than the number of guests eating). I have no idea why this place isn't busier. It deserves to be given the quality of the food. Would eat here again

Amazing food to be fair, definitely 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 rating for the food. Unfortunately for my tastes the venue let me down a little with a complete lack of atmosphere and below average service. Music was on a loop (80s songs) that lasted around 80-90 minutes so before we left we could tell the next song. More worryingly we ordered our drinks and they sat on the bar for five minutes whilst the young girl took a telephone order, I think she was on her own at that point, but still. Then when I finished that drink I waited another ten minutes to be asked if I wanted another. Nothing horrific but a disappointing level of service which might be due to being in at early tea time and they only had one server in. To reiterate, food was amazing and I would definitely go back for more.
