We stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant while sightseeing in Dovercourt one evening and the smell of the food was so mouth watering that we told ourselves that we HAD to come back tomorrow with the rest of our travel companions to eat here..... I'm glad we did because This eatery was amazing! The experience started with the owner Ibrahim greeting us as soon as we entered the restaurant. This is a wonderful man that we were soon to find out puts as much time and love into his food as he does in making sure the customer is happy. His attentiveness to making sure we understood the dishes and what they contained was a refreshing change to the rushed atmosphere that the majority of eateries have. One member of our party has a nut allergy and Ibrahim made sure the dish ordered would not have cross contamination or contact with any nuts. The food arrived and it absolutely blew our minds. Everything was fresh, delicious, and the presentation of it all was something you would find in a five star restaurant. The dishes were a great portion of food but most importantly, the quality was there. Everything on the plate perfectly complimented each other, and there was so much flavour in each dish that we all wished we were hungrier so we could continue on this flavourful journey through the menu. The Turkish Meze Bar met and exceeded everyone's expectations and I guarantee I will be letting everyone I know to take part in the food and atmosphere of this amazing little restaurant. The prices are very reasonable, and no word of a lie that if this restaurant was in London, you would need a reservation and expecting to pay double. I hope everyone has an opportunity to meet Ibrahim and his wonderful family while at the Turkish Meze Bar. Please go and experience the amazing food that he proudly serves. Amazing!!!!
