The overall atmosphere of the bar and restaurant was lively and relaxed creating an ambiance of a homely feeling. Food was great, service was fab. We stayed in room 8 which was the most expensive but at £135 was excellent value. It is obvious that the hotel was recently refurbished and they have done so excellently. Comfortable bed, brilliant shower and products.
Having previously tried the Coppa Club in London and been impressed, we tried Haslemere. Really cosy, comfortable restaurant and a lot of options on the menu. There are several different seating areas including outdoor 'igloos' which can be hired for up to 8 people (which we did). We waited a while for service on a busy rainy Friday evening but when the food arrived, the food was all delicious, beautifully presented, generously portioned and freshly cooked. The cocktails are recommended too! A large community car park at the back or on-street parking opposite the front.
We were there for late lunch. The interior is very stylish. The staff are friendly. Although quiet the service is very slow and not very attentive, needs improving. The food was delicious though so I would probably try again.
Great location and comfortable seating. Service can be slow, and coffee making skills vary. They need a trained batista,no visible management to monitor what is going on. Some of the young staff are very charming.
We stayed Thursday and Friday nights as part of a wedding party.
The rooms were lovely except ours (12) which was uncomfortably hot on the first night.
Breakfast on both days was very nice and the breakfast service was very good.
The bar service was a let down when we arrived in the late afternoon and later in the evening when we returned after dinner out. It stopped us from having a night cap on returning from the wedding on Friday night.
Stayed for 2 days on the 6th and 7th August 2023 ... friendly staff, rooms that we had were numbers 3, 4, and 5, these are contemporary and extremely well designed, lovely expensive products to use in the bathroom and shower. Small fridge in room that had milk and water in with biscuits, tea and coffee on the side. Furniture is good quality in the rooms and throughout the hotel. We had breakfast both mornings, and these were great and well presented. The surrounding area has a lovely feel to it, parking was free (just need to give registration at reception) we will return again in the future.
Not that much on the menu for a vegan coeliac like me! There was one option. The service was fantastic and my friend loved his meal so four stars 🙂… Hoping to see more on the menu next time! 🙏
It's a great hotel and restaurant right in the middle of Haslemere and super accessible if you’re visiting the area. Lots of gluten-free options as well.
We went for dinner for Mother’s Day and the service was absolutely impeccable. The food was delicious and the waiting staff made a point of building rapport at the table, genuinely caring that our food and the service was not only good, it was flawless! Conrad the GM and runs a tight ship there, it’s friendly welcoming and professional, an amazing dining experience, Daniel also introduced himself to us, seating us at our table and made sure that everything was amazing from start to finish. We have been back several times and all of those times The service has been six star! there’s a tall blonde waiter, unfortunately I don’t remember his name but and he also makes a point of coming up and greeting us even if it’s busy to sincerely find out if we are having a good time I can’t recommend a cuppa club enough for food service, and I and ambiance. We love going there!
Just had a lovely meal for five. Scattered my father in laws ashes nearby and had a drink and meal at the coppa. Food was lovely and the staff very attentive, but not over the top. Waiting time for the food from order was brilliant. Thank you coppa for making a bit of a unhappy day into a happy day. KR.
