Tried these fish and chips when visiting relatives in Hassocks. They were the best fish and chips we'd ever tasted. The batter on the fish was so light and crispy (not stodgy like a lot of places) and it was great to see Huss on the menu as I hadn't eaten it since I was a child. Friendly service too. First class all round!
Really top notch, better than most gastro pubs always fresh, always crisp and great service. They clearly take pride in the food they serve, recently moved from hassocks and miss this fish and chips. Not all fish bars are created equal.
The chips, cod bites, and service are all first class. Have been many times in the last few years. Brilliant chippy.
