Hassocks Hotel

This place is a gem. In a world of pubs closing left, right and centre and those that are managing to stay afloat in the current economic climate being less than half empty, this place is how a pub should be. It's been busy but not overly so, the landlord is a great guy and the bar staff are friendly, helpful and work hard. They have pool tables at one end of the pub, clean toilets and a decent function room with a separate bar. Situated right next to Hassocks station. It has a good number of parking spaces but if you can't find a space, the station has parking available.

Nice pub, with loads of space, and lots of tables and seating available. Nice food menu for a good lunch, from standard pub dishes to basket meals and side dishes. The friendly and helpful staff made me feel welcome and the pub had a pleasant atmosphere. Free WiFi via 'The Cloud' and decent mobile signal. There's parking at the station car park and the train station 🚉 has easy links towards Brighton and London. It's also a great place to go if your vehicle is in the Station garage next door for a short while like an MOT for example. The pub also hosts guest street food sellers now and again as well as comedy nights and music. The breaded chicken fillets and curly fries are highly recommended 😋 I'm looking forward to my next visit 😊 👍
