Throughly charming cafe in Old Town. Friendly staff, wonderful coffee, and lovely food served promptly with a smile. We would definitely return.
Lovely café serving lunch and fab looking cakes in the heart of Hastings Old Town. Excellent sandwiches and toasties. Waitress offered to toast the bread rather than the whole sandwich when I ordered the hummus, carrot and pepper sandwich, which turned out to be a perfect combo. Came with a small t
Lovely lunch. Reasonable prices on the menu .Great for watching the old town go by. It's popular with local people so you know that it's a good place to go . They cater to vegetarian and vegan tastes so there is something for everyone . Even beans on toast for the little ones . If you want to try an
Difficult to choose a place to eat in Hastings when you are just visiting, nothing worse than a disappointing lunch experience. Today we had quite the opposite. This restaurant has pleasant tasteful decor inside, the crockery likewise carefully chosen. We both had soups and we both really enjoyed it
Great little local spot for breakfast. Flexible with their menu and have gluten free bread. Amazing cakes!! Only downside was the latte. But friendly staff and dogs allowed inside and out :)
Cosy place with friendly service, delicious coffee & wonderful cake! 🍰
Very happy to have stumbled across this little gem today. We were desperate for some indoor seating to get the kids out of the heat and take a break with a nice drink. The layout was well designed and inviting, there was hand sanitizer readily available as we walked in and at our table. The staff me
Must have passed this place so many times and never been in until today.. l desperately needed coffee after my bike ride over from bexhill, l'm really fussy when it comes to coffee but their double expresso really hit the spot, strong but smooth and well rounded. Waitress/owner was very welcoming an
Nice little coffee shop on a busy competitive George Street. The service was good, although it did take a while for the bill to arrive (in the end I walked to the till myself). It’s slightly odd that the food menu is listed near the door so if you’re sitting outside you have to get up and have a loo
Lovely dahl. And my friend said it was the best cheese sandwich ever - and he's certainly tried many!
This place is so lovely, that having had their great Sussex Smokies for lunch, we went back and had a selection of their wonderful cakes for tea.
Beautiful service, beautiful owner, beautiful food. Definitely a Hastings delight that will be in history as one of the reasons Hastings is so up and coming xx
Staying open for refreshments during covid lockdown, you pass your order through the open door, money taken by card after being served. Good arrangement, good coffee, and good sandwiches. A little something to boost morale during these testing times.
If you want a quick bite in Hastings, then this is likely the best place. Simply head and shoulders above your average cafe/tearoom. Cakes are all homemade, and absolutely delicious, outstanding actually, 'national bake off' quality! The savoury food is also top notch, wouldn't be out of place in
We had a great cup of coffee this morning and I bought a baked cheesecake and a slice of orange almond cake to take home and I have to say both were absolutely amazing!! Definitely one of the best cheesecakes I’ve had ! Thanks
