What an amazing place 3 of us visited Sunday was not disappointed.!!!!! We had a roast definitely the best roast we've eaten out, it had the wow!!! factor. Very big portions couldnt manage all mine but the boys helped out the belly of pork would highly recommended and the roast beef looked good too x Not usually keen eating roast out but really didn't disapoint we definitely would go back highly recommend. The staff were so friendly nothing to much for them all happy full of smiles. Atmosphere great even have live bands which unfortunately couldn't stay for. Thanks to you all at Porters see you soon !!

One of the best places to eat in Hastings. It serves modern, simple and classic cooking with the general vibe of a mother trying to feed you up on a visit home.

Went there for lunch today. While the ambience and wine list have always been good, I was most impressed by how the food has clearly improved with a new chef. The Thai red curry monkfish and king prawn was excellent as was the pan fried Sea Bream. Service was great, as expected and the entire place very welcoming. Its very dog-friendly incidentally. A great choice for lunch or supper in Hastings old town.
