Turned up here with 10 people, one in a wheelchair. This place is very accommodating and thoughtful. The waiter was patient whilst going through each of our orders and was friendly. The food arrived quickly and at roughly the same time. The portions were good and well priced. For anyone with mobility issues, the toilets are up a flight of stairs. Make sure you have the cash because they do not take card.

My partners review when asked was "Eh, it was nice", but I'll elaborate. I was recommended Fish Bowl by friends so, being the fish and chip connoisseur I am while on holiday, I figured, why not.
Having savoured quite a few, ok, a LOT of fish n chips over the years, and more recently this last two weeks, I can safely say, "it was nice". The chips were not greasy at all, and portion sizes were generous. (Personally I prefer the more chunky greasy kinda chip but I wont hold my personal taste against them) The fish tasted fresh and, of fish.
What made the difference In my opinion was the great service, genuinely friendly staff who seemed happy to help, spoke nicely and smiley with the kids; nice light, clean, spacious interior and clean poop room. Will def return to have both fish n chips again and test out their menu.
Great value for money. Clean and modern decor. Staff are friendly, attentive and polite. Food is clean, flavourful and very generous portions. Nice spacious restaurant. Good selection of food and drinks. The only catch is they only accept cash and the only toilet is upstairs. Toilets are clean and fresh, it just limits anybody with physical impairments because of the stairs.
Good food and nice service. Had the cod and chips, and the steak and kidney pie. Café Frappé was good too. My company and I enjoyed very much!
Sitting outside on the patio means you are on the street with all the hustle bustle. Not my favourite surroundings, but no fault of the restaurant.

Best fish and chips around, waitress was new and extremely polite, went to other chip and fish places they were very poor in relation.

Nice food and super helpful friendly staff - only slight downside is that on both times I've eaten here my chips have been mainly all the little end pieces rather than proper chips. I did point it out to the waitress and she said if I tell her next time she will swap them.
Lovely fish with a lovely crisp batter. Great service from a lovely guy who organised a taxi for us.
