Cafe Royale is a charming little cafe in the heart of Hastings. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with friendly staff and delicious food. I recently visited Cafe Royale for breakfast and had a lovely omelette. The omelette was perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of fluffy eggs. It was also served with fresh a fresh small salad, which was a nice addition as well as filling.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Cafe Royale. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. I would recommend Cafe Royale to anyone looking for a great breakfast or brunch in Hastings.
We were a large group who got a range of different meals. Everyone loved theirs. Food perfectly cooked. Service with a smile and fast considering we were such a big group. Definitely our new cafe when visiting Hastings
Thankfully not very busy so was able to relax and eat. Staff very polite and helpful.

Had alot on the menu. Maybe to much. The food overall was good. I think the bacon and the sausages could be better quality but was fine to eat. Best part was mushrooms and eggs and hash browns.

First cafe shop looking good we saw after getting off at Hastings Station! Liked the texture of the eggs and presentation.
Loveliest place in Hastings to get breakfast, in a busy environment the black haired waitress kept everything under control and managed to be attentive to everyone, food came out fast too definitely recommend :)
The waitress was lovely and the kitchen staff could all be seen cooking, in a happy environment.

Found this place.when staying at Hastings. Couldn't fault the place. Great food great service great staff. Selction of food choice wide. But always had the all day breakfast and wasn't disappointed. My son loved the home made smooties and milk shakes.Will always return when back in Hastings.

The service was super friendly and polite. We were welcomed in but had to seat ourselves, the ladies managing the tables were all absolutely charming. They took the time to explain the menu to us and didn't rush us to get out the door or order too quickly. The food was what you would expect, hot, fresh, delicious, and plentiful! They even had bubble and squeak on the menu which I have never seen before but miss from my childhood!!The coffee was surprising! I wasn't expecting a fully functional Espresso bar and the Latte I ordered was expertly crafted. All in all a charming venue for a casual filling meal to get you ready to face the day!! Thoroughly recommend it and I was introduced to this Café by a friend who is a regular so you can't go wrong really!! If you need a good feeding go here!!
Service was fast and attentive. The food came out all together with a very small wait time. The portion sizes are generous and what you would expect for the prices they are. Definitely not disappointed. A real hidden gem
