Great little pub with friendly staff, nicely spaced tables and a good range of food and drinks. Portions are big and prices reasonable. Live locally but only just visited for the first time. Will be back.

I walked from Hastings, where I was staying for a week, just to visit this pub. A gem. Great interior, a nice fluffy carpet (a reason to visit by itself!), good service and reasonable prices. I highly recommend this pub.

Popped in without booking for a beautiful hot Sunday Carvey. With a wide variety of genuine fresh vegetables including cabbage. Followed by Blackberry and Apple Crumble. When next in the area. I will be back.
