Treated ourselves to a couple of portions of chips whilst on our summer holiday. What a gem of a fish and chip shop! Portions were huge and the most delicious chips we've ever had. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming to me and my young daughter and really made her smile. Will definitely revisit if we're ever in the area again. By far the best chips I've had in a very long time!

Brilliant fish, usually quick delivery, haven't sat in yet. Chips varied the 4 times I've had them, but have had that at almost every other fish n chip shop in the area.
Even when they had a breakdown, they still got the orders done by getting help from another fish and chip shop. So their customers didn't go without !

Always a great service, always a fantastic meal, cooked fresh with just the right amount of batter on the fish, not the usual mass that you have to beat your way through, definitely well recommend.
very sorry but after a recent experience of terrible cod and chips leaving both my self and my daughter with very upset stomachs, I'm afraid I will not be going there again. A real shame after such a great start.

Drove to Hasting, saw Codfellows and stopped for a bite to eat, so glad we did. Absolutely perfect cod & chips, fish was pure white, crispy batter. The chips were crunchy and salted to perfection.
I also asked for directions and the owner was kind, and gave me a quicker way home.

We had a few home deliveries from Codfellows, to be totally honest, the only complaint i had when we order our first meal, was" To many chips" but if that was the only complaint then thats not bad!!! Excellent, just about to order another home delivery, excellent!!!

Visited for the first time a week or so after they opened and have to say the battered sausage and chips I had was absolutely lovely. Crispy chips, crispy batter on the sausage and I was cooked all they way through which other chip shops sometimes suffer with.
Really nicely decorated inside and some nice tables and chairs to eat in.
Price was reasonable, made better by the quality.
I will definitely visit again and see if the high standards set at the beginning are still there, if they are I will give a 5 star

The best fish and chips in town!
Great service and very reasonable prices. It is nice to have the option to eat in in the spacious and comfortable seating area. The staff are really friendly, we have visited a few times and it's definitely our favourite fish and chip shop in the area.
We will be back soon.

It has been a long time coming but at last ore village has a fish and chip shop worthy of a good review and praise.Since opening i have visited this shop and on each occasion the food served and the friendly staff have really satisfied me.The plaice and huss fish i had was exceptional, not masses of batter to bulk it up but nice size fish with a gentle coating, cooked to perfection.I don't use these words lightly. Being very local, i will not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them to others.
Please keep up the high standard guy's and you deserve to do well,thank you for my great meals.
