Small, but mighty! Food is always a go to, whether for day to day or as a little present for somebody. I love their clothes (and they almost always have my size available, which is a plus!) and their candles are divine without massive price tag. Also, the best place to get a quick (and nice) birthday card. Marks & Spencer rocks.

The staff are always friendly here, and their vegan section is really building up which I'm delighted about! The only thing that is missing is vegan cheese... If they added this to their shelf, I'd be very happy!! Their plant/flower section is definitely worth noting too - beautiful selection and always priced well.

I really feel like this shop has improved dramatically in the last year. It has certainly had a reputation of being too expensive for food and too old fashioned for clothing. However I have noticed an increase in the variety of food stock and the reduction in prices. There is a lot of choice to suit different budgets and therefore it is the first place I go now for special food related items for gifts/hampers/party's! And the clothing has really improved! They have some great options for smart/casual wear and their plus sizes don't compromise on design or style! The quality and feel of their jeans and jeggings is amazing and the prices are so reasonable. Also the fit is incredible for these items considering that most plus sized items are saggy and I'll fitting! They have a great range of accessories too! There are still expensive items and overpriced items, but there is a much better balance in stock now. I'm especially surprised by their kids range including the school uniform which is very reasonably priced for the quality of the items. I've used their flower deliver service multiple times and the quality is very good. The shop floor is always clean, tidy, bright, easy to navigate and the stock is displayed well! What most impresses me is the amount of younger people working for the store. I was told once that they do a work experience programme. It is really great to see a big company helping the community in a real way! It is such a deprived town, so to see the company training young people and giving them a foot up on the employment ladder is really admirable!
