I visited with my daughter yesterday and we loved this cafe. The views were wonderful as it was a beautiful sunny clear day .I had a toasted sandwich and my daughter a jacket potato which we both enjoyed and thought excellent value for money. The cafe is quirky and fun and we will definitely be back.

The view was so good from this cafe. I only bought a bottle of water here, not sure how their food is. They have toilets also.

Have been today, it is open for business and the owner and chef very accommodating. It is cash only temporarily but the views are second to none and you can have a variety of different food choices. Make a day of it, go to smugglers adventure which is a short walk away, take the children to the park and visit the cafe for some tasty food !

Fun and friendly cafe - the best bacon sandwich known to man. Incredible. Lovely cup of tea overlooking the sea front. You get what you pay for here, it's rough and ready but a charming place to dream away a couple of hours looking out to sea.

Ive always liked this place. I especially adore the home made Shepherds/Cottage Pie. I also like the Chilli Con Carne. The cafe affords one with great scenes of Hastings Old Town and the fishing fleet and harbour, the East Hill and Country Park, Clive Vale and Ore. This cafe has brilliant staff and has had the same proprietor for over thirty years. I believe that the only day of the year it is closed is Christmas Day. I highly recommend it

Beautiful spot to take a tea break on a sunny day. Indoor seating for rainy weather too though. Nice to bring a sketch book with some tea and cake to look over the sea in Hastings. 4 stars for a little queue and they were running out of cakes when we got there mid afternoon, but still cosy and friendly. Not much parking, have to grab an on-street spot which can be difficult. Cafe toilets not very accessible for the disabled but there may be more round near the furnuncular lift next door?

Old style cafe with probably the best views views over Hastings. Even when the weather is bad, it’s a great place to enjoy a coffee and watch the world go by.

I gave 4 stars for an amazing view and great customer service. Food was slightly disappointing as it was very greasy and oily.

Had a lovey breakfast that was good value and good quality. Beautiful view of Hastings. Well worth takingthe funicular to the top of the hill.
