Some of the wait staff have very limited English skills so specific requests to accommodate food sensitivities or upgrade to a top shelf tequila in the Margaritas were ignored. Food is okay tho far from authentic & many popular native dishes ignored: No Pollo 🐔 mole, no Chile 🐷Verde, no carnitas🐖 & no caldo de res. 🥘 There is a variety of basic offerings same as most other Mexican restaurants, all of which pass muster. Also on the plus side is Dos Equis Amber ( dark) on tap. Service can be hit or miss.

It has been about 20 years since I've been here to eat. We used to go frequently when I was in high school. It has been well maintained and the owners have continued their attention to detail and quality food. I was lucky that the day I was there as my favorite dish was the lunch special, beef flautas and rice with a small salad. Delicious.

Great food, really fast, prompt, pleasant service, wonderful, charming atmosphere. I will say that the tea was just a glass of water that her an inspirational speech that it could be anything at wanted to be. The staff was really nice when we contested paying top prices for water. So no harm no foul. Overall a really good place to eat.

We ate at Mexican Connection for lunch and enjoyed every bite! The nachoes were delicious and the Flautas lunch special was fantastic too. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and the tortillas were so soft and tender. Their horchattas are delicious to drink too! Very reasonable prices for everything. We had perfect service and they were very quick getting our food out for our bigger group too. We love coming here and will definitely be coming back in the future!

The place is a bit dingy but the food was very good! I had a taco dinner that came with two tacos, beans, and rice for $10.99. The shells were cooked just the way I liked them and the hot sauce they gave me was TOP NOTCH. The beans were some of the best I'd ever had! Quite the value meal at $10.99 for the amount of food I got and the quality, too! My son's nachos were a bit lackluster on the presentation but he agreed that the beans were amazing. My youngest got a corn dog meal and we were pleased to see it come with huge steak fries. They also give you chips and REALLY GOOD salsa upon sitting down and apparently you get refills too because we were refilled twice I think. The restaurant is old, dated, but it had its own nostalgic charm. Food was great. Service was good, but nothing spectacular. I can see why this place has been in business so long, though.

I stopped in for lunch today and ordered a taco salad without olives. I have never had faster service anywhere! I sat down, my drink order was immediately taken and brought to me. I ordered my food and it was just a few minutes and it was served! It was a good sized salad with lots of chicken. The server was super kind and made me feel comfortable eating alone. The gentleman that seated me and brought my silver wear did so with a smile. My meal came to under $12! I will be back the next time I am in town. Thank you!
