Wonderful service, kind and friendly staff who were willing to cater to my fussiness.
The menu had an abundance of choice from small nibbles to full meals and a good balance of English, Mediterranean and Turkish foods available.
The decor was beautiful, it was bright and they had made good use of the small and oddly shaped floor plan.
The kitchen areas were visible and were very clean and tidy, glass counters displaying the many foods on offer created the counter space and allowed us an opportunity to see the freshness and excellent quality of the produce we'd be consuming.
They had a wide array of drinks, hot and cold, including fresh smoothies. I ordered a Latte which was perfect. I'd return for the coffee alone!
Pricing wasn't the cheapest around, but it was far from the most expensive, I'd say the cost was mid range and you're definitely tasting the quality with the extra cost. Everything was fresh and well made and well presented.
My only negative was the particular seat I chose was right by a window and I was uncomfortably hot from the direct sunlight coming through the floor to ceiling glass. This would not deter me from returning, I would think differently on my seating next visit though.
I cannot speak for whether this place was child friendly. The look and feel of the place is very mature and chic, it is cozy due to its limited space and therefore I don't feel it would be the best place for my child with his particular needs. However, the takeaway service and the beach opposite does make the food accessible to all.
Really delicious food in a cosy setting, staff were incredibly friendly and the chef was excited to hear feedback! Which was of course that the food was divine!!! Really lovely little spot to sit and enjoy watching the world fly by as your relax! I highly recommend the Mediterranean breakfast, that kept me well fed for the entire day and was very reasonably priced.
All the sweet baklava, cakes and delights looked so very delicious too!
Delicious breakfast! Everything so perfect to the details and served pretty and yummy! Food is very very fresh and you feel it. And Aromatic smooth coffee 😉 all served pretty quick and team is very well organised and very polite and professional! So you will have a tasty breakfast and good atmosphere to start you day and enjoy the town. Totally recommended!

We had falafel & Houmous and marinated lamb. Both came with a very tasty salad and chips.
Fantastic atmosphere in this traditional restaurant. Situated right on the seafront with sea views and in the town centre with access to buses and Hastings train station a short walk away. We were walmly welcomed when we went in and seated at a table straight away. The staff were friendly and polite. We ordered two of their lunchtime meals and were blown away at the quality and taste of the food. It was delicious. We plan on returning soon for their evening menu and sampling their mezze selection which sounded amazing on the menu. There is a small step to get in, but coukd accommodate wheelchair access easily enough. Parking is available across the road in the large Pelham Place carpark. A must visit for any food lovers.

We visited Yaaze based on fantastic online reviews. We were warmly greeted at the front door and were quickly seated for lunch.
After being seated we were given menus and were shortly asked for our order. Unfortunately, the person serving our table seemed very unenthusiastic and perhaps was close to finishing for the day as we had to ask where our drinks were after some people who came in after us received their drinks well before us. I think the other staff clocked this as they were extremely polite to us and checked in with us regularly to see if there was anything else we needed throughout our lunch here. On the whole very warm and friendly environment.
Besides that, the food was truly incredible. I had the falafel dish whilst my partner had the Greek salad. Both dishes were huge and after a morning of walking up hills, was very welcome! Food for me was 5/5.
For drinks we liked the look of the smoothies but were informed that ingredients couldn’t be removed (as the were ready made). I had the green power smoothie which was great but my partner settled with a soft drink as most smoothies contained banana which she couldn’t eat.
Overall, would definitely visit again and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Hastings.
Mediterranean breakfast is the best, big portions and freshly cooked.
Cakes are all great , hard to choose from.
Staff super friendly and welcoming, will definitely visit again.

Of course ended with tea , Turkish coffee and pistachio cake
Thought we'd try something different and we weren't disappointed!
The service was first class. And the food was amazing. Portion sizes are out of this world! If you get the chance to go,don't think twice about it.
We were a party of 16 and they were very accommodating. Great selection of teas. Coffee was good, and cake selection was exceptional.
We visited again Yaaze cafe bistro& maze bar in Hastings and we had lovely and delicious food!!!
